It fit into the stock battery just fine, but my car's cable's screw was a little big for it. im sure i could make it work if i forced it, but after reading the reviews on how easy this piece strips, i didnt think it was worth it (i just hooked my amplifier positive cable to the fusebox screw right beside the battery). If your using a huge amp and dont plan on disconnecting your battery very often it would probably be a good piece. Its a good design, but cheap materials.
For anyone wondering what this is, some battery's use "side mount screws", which don't allow room for another cable to be attached to the battery terminal. this one allows to to connect another cable (ex an amplifier positive power) to the terminal on the battery (screw the new cable under this, and this into the battery terminal), then the car's cable that connects to the battery is supposed to screw into the top of this.

I would definitely purchase this product again, nor recommend it to anyone. The very first time I tried to use it the threads snapped off, and I was threading it in by hand!

I bought a pair of these and was excited b/c of the price. you get what you pay for with these. I broke one when tightening it down, it got snug and an additional 1/4 turn broke it off. this is ridiculous how brittle they are. i broke one and got the other on but i do not trust it. pay the extra money for a good set.
That being said, the functionality of them is great if you do not break them putting them on. the design idea is perfect, the quality of metal is just very poor.

This little guy broke off in my battery terminal threading and wasn't even close to factory torque. I picked up a 3.00 version at an autozone that torqued twice as tight without breaking.
This 2.00 part cost me over 200.00 in new batteries and parts.
You get what you pay for I am afraid.
If you insist on purchasing this product, gently tighten, almost leave it loose.
