We purchased the CDX-P686 to go with an entire system for one of our cars. The CDX-P686 was a super addition, it responds to commands from the control and sounds absolutely perfect. We have not heard it skip at all even when passing through many hard bumps in the road. The next upgrade for one of our vehicles will be a Pioneer system with a CDX-P686.

I love this product. its a wonder, with my dvd unit I can just change the function/source on the unit to mulit- cd and control the cd changer from the screen of the unit. it saves time on exchanging the dvd to cd and soforth. it's a strong yes from me. pioneer is the best :)
