Thunderous Bass Impact
The chill finally crawls from off of your spine. For a moment there are no words that can describe the gut-wrenching bass tones you just heard. The next moment, you can’t stop thinking of new ways to let the world know of your experience. You’ve just been exposed to an MTX Audio T9500 superwoofer, and you won’t soon forget the experience. These subwoofers are an industry standard for those looking to make bass tones once thought unheard stand out right in your face and make their presence known.
Boasting a rating of 750 watts of true RMS power handling, these subwoofers can really handle some power! A 195 oz. magnet allows the T9500 subwoofers for a full 4” of peak-to-peak excursion! This means with the Thunder 9500 you get a full 1” of Xmax. A 3.5” voice coil allows for some mean bass reproduction and can really help reproduce the gut-wrenching deep low bass that a lot of SPL competitors are after.

For the past few years in one car I was running a 2009 10L7. After researching an upgrade for the 10L7, I decided on the T9510. Wow, what an upgrade!! I built a ported box per the MTX specs and I'm powering it with a JL e1800D 1000rms@2ohms. I wish I had a db meter because it feels equal to my friends system that has 3 JL12W0V2's. It absolutely blows the 10L7 out of the water and makes it look like a toy!! (Sort of like when I upgraded from the factory sub to the 10L7) This sub is just downright nasty! I frequently have people ask "what subs do you have" "do you have two 12's in there" "you got a 15 in that little car" they never believe me when I tell them I have one ten LOL.
I will admit, it does take 5-10min to loosen up every day due to the massive surround and ultra stiff spider (similar to an old Rockford HX2 Power I had about 8 years ago). As you would expect, it is a little weak on the high end, if your one of those people that likes subs that can hit 120hz notes this may bother you.
Value: If you only have room for 1 10", and you want nasal cavity clearing bass, this is it!
Looks: Amazing.
Durability: It's eating 1000rms in 0deg Chicago winters and laughs!
Features: The screw type wire terminals are badass, love them.

This sub is absolutely ridiculous. I am pushing it with a TE1501D @ 2 ohms. The enclosure is the Sledgehammer design from MTX, and it is VIOLENT!!! I can only turn the Alpine HU to 25 before I start to get woozy... I have also hooked up a JL 10W7, and it never even comes close to this thing!! And buy from Sonic, you will definitely appreciate their customer service.

Got a single 9500-44-10" in a ported enclosure. Pushing it with a Hifonics Brutus BX1000D, and DAM it hits hard!!!! Never thought I'd get this kind or sound/volume out of a single 10"!!!! Would recommend to any one. Very pleased.
