NICE SOUNDING SUBS

I was recently wanting to buy some subs i wanted to try a different brand so i went with these subs. I want to tell you these got great clean sound i'm very impressed with these subs i have them wired to a hifonics brutus BRZ1200.1. Very strong clean bass if you want some subs go with these. I recommend them.

Why no reviews???

If you do any research on subs you MUST have seen all the forums recommending the idq subs! I put this in the free 1.75 ported box and it sounded pretty nice! Abut boomy but loud! I then put it in sealed 1 cube foot box and it really shines. Hands down the best clean sounding sub I've heard. This and the w6 from JL. I HAVE HAD W7's too. W6 hits lows a bit better in ported box so may be better for hip hop only but this is great for all around sound and wayyyyy cheaper. I like it so much I ordered a bigger amp and a second one w a new box. You won't be disappointed if you want amazing sound. Electronic and rock sound sickly nice with this sealed. It's loud ported also but the manual even says sealed is recommended. Man were they right.m!! My install guy was extremely impressed off only 500 Rms. Can't wait for 2 w 650 each!!!

Really nice subwoofer

I was running 2 10in JL subs in my Trailblazer, but they took up too much cargo space. I was looking for a smaller subwoofer package that way I can still throw baseball equipment back there and still have enough bass to suit my needs. This Image Dynamic IDQ12 fits this requirement perfectly, since it only needs a 1 cubic foot sealed enclosure to sound fantastic. This is a very accurate sub. It hits all of the notes in rock and country music, but will also hit the low notes in decaf music, whenever I get an itch to rattle everything in the truck. It’s only seeing 500rms from a Rockford Prime 500.1 and it gets the job done. Kudos to Image Dynamics and Sonic Electronix for delivering an awesome product.

I orginally was looking into Rockford P3 and JL 3W subs, a quick internet search lead me to this subwoofer and almost every forum recommnded this sub over those. I was looking for something for sound quality (SQ) and not just output (SQL). This is the best sound quality sub I have ever heard in person, from Paul Oakenfold, Rage against the machine to Selena Gomez, this sub can hit mids and lows like no other. Has excellent response and is ready for anything. Turn up the volume and it rattles my car apart. It does both SQ and SQL easily. Excellent sub!

Best SQ Sub on the Market

I've had this sub for over 2 months now, so it is well broken in and I can give a more honest review of it. Sub is well made, has a good heft to it, and the spring connectors hold the wires very secure.

I initially had this installed in a 1 ft^3 sealed box, but my SUV has too much volume for that so it's now in a 1.8 ft^3 box (as recommended by Image Dynamics rep). Running it at 515 Watts RMS, and it wants more power.

This sub is designed for sound quality in mind, and Image Dynamics delivers on this. The sub produces some of the most accurate bass tones and is able to keep up with any type of music. Not many subs with the same XMax value as the IDQ12 can do that. If you're looking for something that hits in a sealed box and sounds amazing, look no further. You get what you pay for with this sub. A manufacturer that stands behind their product, has a solid reputation, and most importantly; made in the USA.

Image Dynamics continues to make a great product. I'm running this sub off of anew Alpine PDX amp getting almost 600 watts. The sub is clean and deep. Very happy with it. Grear value and amazing sound quality

Awesome subwoofer

I've been searching for a musical subwoofer that's fast enough to keep up with my front components and I found it with this model. This actually was the 4th one in my search and I based it from a lot of reviews from car audio forums. I'm using a Kenwood Excelon XR900-5 (sub wired for a 2 ohm load so it gets 600W) and it already sounds punchy and fast while still not broken-in. I have it on a 1.6 cubic ft ported box (close to the specs) but I feel I will get more bass definition if I go sealed with the right amount polyfill.

Great SQ and plenty of boom

Sub running off of 450rms kicker amp at 2ohm. Installed in a potted box tuned to 33hz. Sound quality is absolutely amazing, hits majority of the bass notes between 25-200hz. Loud enough for the next person in a vehicle next to you to feel and hear your music. Definitely recomend this sub to those who seek perfect sq and a bit of loudness.
