These things are beasts, nothing is better in this price range. They are also built to last, and can handle a lot more then they're rated at.

These are not your grandma's speakers in her caddy.Ive owned these pups about for about 6 months and let me tell you....These things sound like your in a stadium!I have 'em hooked to a kicker amp, turned up half way....you can hear me a block away! The only beef i have with 'em is the lows, but than again there only 5 1/4.IF you want a speaker that can be heard echoing off buildings, get these!

Klippel testing have shown that the midrange is one of the best that can be found regardless of price. Very low distortion. This is a steal.
Listening impressions are impressive, even though they are only a 5 14 they are just like the bigger brother and offer very strong midbass.
I do not use the stock crossovers, I run them active and the tweeters are some of the smoothest I have heard, no sibilance at all (harsh S's and H's).
Build quality is exceptional on these.
These are widely known around different car audio forums as some of the best bang for the buck available. Not only do they perform but they look great.
These things can take power and stay very well composed. Very clear and again strong midbass.
It comes with many mounting options and the passives have an attenuator for the tweets.
