Learn more about the mm1Maxxsonics (parent company to Hifonics, MB Quart, and Crunch) gives you a super-slick solution for adding an iPod or other auxiliary input to your audio system. The MM-1 features a unique 2-piece design that incorporates a compact remote module with 1/8" input jack and volume control, and a separate switch box with universal RCA inputs and outputs. Simply connect the MM-1 to with your amplifier's RCA inputs, and wire up the auxiliary input module to your dash or center console. The illuminated volume knob allows you to easily match the levels of your auxiliary source, and the MM-1 even switches sources automatically with signal-sensing technology. Compatibility and great sound quality are assured with noise-cancelling differential inputs and 4-channel outputs. Universal RCA inputs and outputs, along with a standard 1/8" (3.5mm) mini jack auxiliary input, make the MM-1 compatible with any aftermarket amplifier. Can also be used with some factory radio output adapters (available separately) when upgrading to an aftermarket amplifier.

Excellent alternative to a new head unit
This system is a great addition to my stereo. I wanted to keep my system looking stock from the outside, with a great sounding system on the inside. I removed my ashtray and mounted the interface inside of it so it can be closed and out of site, but with the ashtray door open its easily within reach for volume adjustment. Installation was simple and the sound is excellent with my JL audio speakers & subs driven by Alpine amps. I recommend this to anyone who wants great sound from their mp3 player without all the sound degrading adapters. There is no way to achieve this sound level without directly connecting to a new head unit or in this case your amplifier. Very pleased with this system.
