Beautiful Amp

Sound stream is notorious for there high quality car audio products and this is nothing short of that. This amp is built of high quality parts including the audiophile grade capacitors which makes the bass very precise. The amp itself is very beautiful and pleasing to the eyes with it's brushed aluminum look and feel. Overall a great amp can't complain whatsoever. Pushes my pheonix gold r3 12 with no problem.

TA2.400 is good!

This is an overall nice amplifier plenty of power and clear sounding. I would say my only complaints about this amplifier are the settings on the side of the amplifier are a little hard to read. Meaning Soundstream only put the min and max of each dial for ex. gain, crossover points and boost frequency is a little bit of a guessing game when tweaking or tuning in the amplifier. Otherwise no complaints, but too early to really tell how the durability will be!

Excellent Amp

Plenty of power from this amp. I am powering a set of Boston Acoustics Pro50SE component speakers and this amp doesn't hesitate for a moment. These are 3ohm speakers so they pull a bit more than the 135w RMS 4 ohm load per channel. Given that it is a 2 ohm stable amp, this doesn't pose an issue at all. Ive used Soundstream in the past in the Van Gogh VGA 400.2 series and that amp was fantastic! This picks up where that one left off and doesn't skip a beat. My only issue would be the connection layout. Id prefer everything on one side of the amp. I can more than live with that issue though. That being said, I would highly recommend this amp to any audiophile wanting to add an affordable but rock solid piece to their sound system.
