I expected nothing less from MTX; the sub hits all the lows, hits hard, the only problem is when it gets hot you have to let it cool it off... Trust me, I need to get the MTX 9500 now.

If you want the hardest hitting, tightest, breath-taking bass avalaible here you go. Its all in the sensitivity rating. These have the highest I have found for years! 95.25db according to MTX. Thats high nowdays! I have two of these subs in a custom ported box powere by two MTX thunder 502 amps bridged @ 2ohms. Wow they hit! Only problem is overheating. These are a rather small set of subs but if you only want to crank it up for one or two songs but you want hard hitting bass this is your only option.

I bought this subwoofer for my ex-girlfriend as birthday present. I proceded to install this with a lighting audio amp. I dropped the mtx in a small sealed truck enclosure stuffed with polyfill to trick the subwoofer into thinking it was a larger box. Sound quality was a bit muddy but it surprizingly got quite loud. Louder than I expected! Would be a good buy as a entry level sub.
