I just installed my Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X791 into my 06 Elantra and I must say that everything fit up nicely. I currently have it connected to the OEM JBL speakers and I can tell the difference in clarity between the KDC and the OEM headunit. The front/rear/and subwoofer outputs are great cause I am about to hook up 3 amps for my car (front, rear, and sub). the USB connection is a nice touch as I have a 40 gb external HD that plugs directly in. No more having to carry books of cds, or burn MP3 cds.

This HU is awesome. It has more features than you can shake a stick at. I am also powering 2 - 6.5" and 2 - 6x9" Boston Acoustics off the deck and they sound really good. Make sure that if you like loud lows that you get an amp and some subs.
Be aware that the button color is blue and can not be changed (if your instrument panel is red as opposed to blue and/or green), but you can change some of the text/font colors on the display to red (or a variety of other colors).

This deck is great! I'm powering 2 sets of MA Audio 6.5's and a pair of 1" tweets right off the deck. The subwoofer control is a must have for traffic lights (turn up/down the bass not the volume). It has a USB hookup so you can save $100's and just get a couple flash drives instead of a cheesy ipod. The only downside is the display screen, I have a sunroof and when the sunshines on the deck it's impossible to read the display. It's not a real big problem more of a minor annoyance really.

Just hooked up the deck last night. Sounds great, lots of audio options to optimize the sound. Would highly recommend.

I recently purchased this deck from Sonic based on past positive experiences with Kenwood products. This deck is user friendly for the most part with a little help from the instruction booklet. The best feature of this stereo is the seperate bass control adjustment for controling the subs when an amp is utilized with the subwoofer output jack. All other features are relatively easy to get to once one becomes familiar with the controls. The only negative aspect of this deck is the display - when it's turned on the display is pixilated/fuzzy and it takes up to 10-15 minutes before clearing up(maybe I just got a defective deck???) Aside from that the deck is very nice for a mid-level Excelon deck.
