On a bose cts your options are limited as far as auxillary input for ipods, droids, etc. goes so this unit taps into the XM. Does the job but gets real buggy over time and conflicts with the anti-theft and stability controls via DIC prompt screen. If your reviewing this product and own a 1st gen cts/cts-v, just pull the trigger on a new deck (double din). You'll get better sound quality, input options, and touchscreen capability as our vehicles NAV/DIC came out before this technology was widely implemented from the factory.

This unit was very easy to install in my 2006 Trailblazer LT. I took +12 and ground from the radio interface cable. The unit worked as described. I have access to all iPod functions through the factory radio, and still have use of the internal 6-disc changer. A great value for the price.
