The Kenwood KOS-L702 6.95" TFT-LCD monitor offers touchscreen control for the
CarPortal KOS-V1000 and KOS-V500 factory system integration and expansion controllers. All important functions are accessible with a touch of your finger, as well as control any Kenwood devices connected to your controller. The screen will also display pictures from a backup camera connected to the KOS-V1000 or KOS-V500. A 1-year warranty through Sonic Electronix is included.

This product when used with a KOS-V500 and the KNA-G510 solves the problem of fitting aftermarket Navigation to vehicles such as the Volvo S60 and the Land Rover Discovery 3 (not the 4) and the Range Rover Sport (not the 2010 model). These are a great addition and work really well. However the Kenwood bluetooth kits are very unreliable and cause major headaches!

The Kenwood KOS-L702 is a 7" monitor that provides touchscreen control over the KOS Carportal systems. It operates basically just like the touchscreen on a double-DIN sized Kenwood head unit. The only drawback is the cost of an integrated system vs. a standard double-DIN unit, which requires purchasing the Carportal control unit, the touchscreen control monitor, a remote A/V souce (DVD/CD player), etc. Performs well and looks great in it's designed capacity. installation is probably best left to an experienced installer.
