Highs to the moon, NO BASS

I was looking for some 4" replacement speakers for my MoTo and was very impressed with the 6 x 9's of this model line I had purchased and installed in my wife's xterra. Those 6x 9's had the lowest lows I'd ever experienced in a 6 x 9. Almost like a subwoofer. And those 6 x 9's (like these 4 inchers) had crazy highs. And the clarity of those highs is first class.

Unfortunately... these 4-inchers are very lacking on bass. Based on other reviews on Sonic I purchased some Polk Audio db401's. Couldn't be happier with them. I'd recommend them over this model.

great buy

This are really good speakers, for only a 4" it puts out some good bass and clean highs. Its a great speaker, the highs can be heard about 100 or so yards away with the deck only a 1/4 turned up!

Great product only one problem.

This is a great product. You can do many things with this radio, i have been extremely happy with it, the only problem is when you go to insert a cd, you have to push a button to have the face of the radio open up, it does not work very well, the button sometimes sticks and if you don't move your hand very quickly after pushing the button it will jam. It has been doing this since i opened the box. Other than that its great.
