Nice

I bought this deck a while ago and have had no problems since. its a pretty good deck for the money. I'm running my music off an a-data 2 gb usb stick and i got over 1400 songs on there. only down side is every time you turn it on it takes about 20 seconds to load up all the music but after that changing and loading songs is instant. very nice deck and a lot of preouts and features to improve any mid range system. would be really nice if it had motorize face plate :)

The best unit I've had so far

This hd has the best sound ever, you can literally make your speakers sound like subwoofers. On top of that the screen changes color, and of course it has the usb slot where you can plug in you i-pod, hard drive, or usb memory stick, it also can be used as a charger. It's not a cheap unit but it's worth every penny.

Good looks, lots of options.

I have owned jvc headunits before, and none of them ever gave me problems. This one is the same way. The sound quality is very good. 5 volt pre-amp provide my amp with a strong signal. Lots of ways to control your sound with the eq. The unit looks much better than the pictures show it to be. Overall, I would definitely recommend it.

A Kick Butt receiver

I love this unit, it has everything and more! It plays mp3's, it can color match you cars interior, and you can even download pics. This unit has it all, and it has high RMS power too. This provids a clean all around sounding system. You can tweek just about anything you want, to make it sound just the way you want it to. The down side is no high pass crossove built in, small buttons, and you really have to read the ownes manual. This receiver has so much, it takes time to learn all that it can do. I didn't even mention the front panel USM input! Love it!!

big difference over my old school jvc cd player

like my title says, its a big difference. it takes less than a second to change songs in mp3 mode and it also has inputs to use another sound device, i use my psp system. you can also use a usb cable. sounds very nice and crisp and does push out out 20 watts rms like it says. it has badass graphics, looks like a game boy advance graphics and you can change the graphics you can view (different pictures). it does have an 8 db bass engine wich works nicely and a very nice equaliser, others don't even have an equaliser and it works nicely. over all, in this website this is the best deal ever and comes with free shipping and install kit. you just can't find a better deal for a cd player in this site. the cosmetic view if this cd player is perfect, it has one of the best material i seen, you will be very satisfied, over all the best deal and only from sonic electronix.com for this price. thanks sonic

JVC KD-AR870 is a great unit!

I have had a JVC KD-AR870 for 6 months now with no problems. The EQ and Fader controls are all menu based rather than direct touch knobs. This unit changed my life! I no longer have to burn CDs! I use my flash drives for all my music needs. I use a 4 Gig Flash Drive for tons of my music. USB Flash interfaces are the future!! I just bought two more for my other cars. Rob C

this headunit is awesome! It can change any color to match your dash lights and the other thing i like a lot about it is all the settings comes with built in user selectable crossovers and gains. The Bluetooth works very well unless you have the mic all the way up. It will even play music off of a external hard drive or flash-drive. i would recommend this product to anyone.
