Samsung LN46B650
This is the best lcd tv that we've owned.
The LN46B650 model includes some features such as Picture in Picture that lower numbered models lack.
One of the reasons for choosing this model was to get a high contrast ratio. This model is excellent in that area.
The sound could be better because the speakers are facing backward to reflect from a wall. We don't have a wall!. However our 5.1 system makes up for that.
I would buy this again - until the LED types reach this price level.
