The large QVGA display measures 7” from corner to corner and is crystal clear. The detail, brightness, and quality of the monitor are among the best that can be purchased today. It features a build-in flash-based GPS navigation systems that calls upon its huge 16 million POI database to give the user the ultimate navigation experience. The flash based navigation is fast and results in fewer slow-downs and faster loading time. The Eclipse AVN726E features 3D map display that allows buildings in large city’s to be displayed on the screen for an even more realistic navigation experience.
Bluetooth and iPodTo add even more to this double-DIN unit, Eclipse added built in Bluetooth technology for hands-free talking while the vehicle is in motion. The phone calls are loud and clear, and the external microphone helps the clarity of the audio. The built-in Bluetooth also supports A2DP for the streaming of digital audio files via Bluetooth. If the Bluetooth audio isn’t enough, Eclipse sells an iPod interface adapter that enables full control and playback of the iPod with a USB interface. With the Eclipse IPC709 you can enjoy audio and video playback directly from your iPod, while giving the device a charge.

Everything I wanted in a Nav Unit
I love this double DIN Nav unit from Eclipse! It fit perfectly in my '06 Acura RSX with the American International Dash Kit. I bought it mainly for the great 3D-Graphics that have actual 3D buildings in dense cities. But I also needed a better Head unit as the stock one was lousy, and a satellite connection w/ traffic module. I bought the add-on traffic module w/ a Sirius subscription.
Only concerns were the perceived reliability and the controls are a bit difficult to use at first; even though the GUI is quite nice and colorful. A SD flash update was needed to get traffic working properly with the Eclipse Add-on unit I purchased.
