The famous Kicker Comp subwoofer provides excellent Kicker bass, while sticking to a tight budget. The Comp subwoofer has been redesigned for 2010 with looks that are stunning and technology that is time tested. Some of the engineering behind this subwoofer is the extremely rigid injection molded cone. The cone has been adjusted to match the 2010 Kicker line of subwoofer, but it still keeps it traditional black and yellow design that the Comp is known for. Behind the cone, the subwoofer features 360 degree back bracing, a vented pole piece, Kickers Spiralead tinsel leads, and a sturdy steel basket. This legendary Comp subwoofer from Kicker is the perfect balance between high value and high performance!
A 8" Kicker Comp subwoofer is small applications. These woofers are perfect for vehicles that are very limited on space or when an existing 8" subwoofer is being replaced. A 8" Comp subwoofer is going to give solid bass, without taking up much space in the vehicle. In addition to 8", this subwoofer is also available in 10", 12" and 15".

Worked good in my application
Buddy had a blown up home sub with two 8" subs powered by a plate amp. Company wanted $*** plus shipping to fix it. $*** later and my work he's happier than ever with it.

Replaced blown sub on Acoustic Authority 2.1 system.
This was literally a drop-in replacement for my Acoustic Authority powered computer subwoofer 2.1 system I bought back in 2002. This system has 100 Watts for he subwoofer part. (Probably more like 50-75 RMS)
The old sub looks like it was a 12 Ohm from what my Digital Multimeter can tell me. Couldn't find anything with that rating in this size, so went for this 8 Ohm one. Plays great! A little louder and a little deeper than before even! I also choice this unit as replacement after inspecting the enclosure it was going into and calculating/rough-estimating the internal volume and this one was within those specs for ported.
Really like the spring-loaded terminals to.
I ran the unit full-volume for a half-day and no problems.

Nice sub woofer
Purchased this sub woofer to replace the blown speaker in my ONKYO home theater surround sound system. I like to play my system loud, and in the 6 months I have owned the Kicker 07C88 speaker, I can say that the speaker holds up well with no crackling, buzzing or any signs of blowing. Cant beat it for the price.

Sweet Sub
Wow! I put two of these bad boys in a '97 Eclipse and I just have to say that they hit extremely hard for just 8's. Their sound is incredible! A must if you don't want to sacrifice space or sound.
