The NXV BIR200 Isolator is the perfect solution when adding a secondary battery to your audio system. It allows the second battery to be fully dedicated to the sound system and does not create a voltage drop like common isolators tend to do. The isolator will draw less than 1-Amp when your vehicle is powered on. All of this will ensure that your battery will be isolated with confidence!
When two vehicle batteries are wired in parallel they have a tendency to charge and drain one another. Installing a relay that disconnects the batteries when the engine is off prevents excessive wear and lengthens the life of the batteries. Whenever you turn your engine back on, the batteries will be connected without any voltage drop to the second battery.

it works as it should!
its a must have if you are running two batteries. i had mine installed by a certified installer and no more juice sucking from my starting battery. i have a hifonics brx 14001.d and two 15 inch kicker cvr (2010 model) with the kinetik hc600 battery and all is well,so get it and be done with worries about your car not being able to start!

Great Value
I use this relay to connect the chassis and coach batteries on my motorhome for charging and possible emergency start if a battery runs down.The old one with a different brand name failed in less than 2 years.I now have it wired to a toggle switch as it is not needed often since adding solar panels to my rv. The NVX BIR200 appears to be well built and functions perfectly. It energizes properly and shows no voltage drop across its contacts. Does what I need.

Slightly overpriced
Works as it should. Wish the design was a bit better, in order to attach terminals easier, but that's the only thing available for the money. Otherwise, one would either have to take out a mortgage, sell a kidney or design their own.
