Hawaii flights
We bought two pair of these to use on our flights to Hawaii. They are not as expensive as other headphones but are much better than what the airline provides. Since we don't fly that much these are great.

Great headphones
Does not compare with studio-quality headphones, but if you're looking for something decent and portable on a budget, these work well. The frequency response is quite decent and they are fairly comfortable (they could be better) The cord doesn't tangle, and when it does, it's just one knot.

Great Headphones for the Price
These headphones are great for around $50. They are good quality and the bass is intense. I use them to listen to music on my Nook and the sound is excellent. They are also good-looking headphones.

Good sound for the price
No regret for a buy, for that price, there wasn' t any other choice for me. Design is awesome, sound is great, it's durable, cable is perfect. After 6 months of using there are still no signs of usage. Recommend for a buy.

Sony MDR-V500DJ
These headphones can be uncomfortable after a couple hours. When it starts to hurt I'll take it off and give my ears a break. The reason why I got these headphones is that I thought that it will have a lot of bass because of the 1,000mW power rating. But the V500DJ headphones can be really loud if you plug it in to computer speakers.(Acoustics A-3640) Cheap hissing sounding computer amp, But you can't hear it playing loud! I hear a ringing sound after playing it loud. It's louder on your computer then your mp3 or CD player. Looking for a lot of bass in headphones? Get the AKG K414P or the older AKG K26P there both the same & looks the same too.
