I have two of these installed in my Avalanche under the back seats. They put out too much midrange frequency and not nearly enough bass. I was told subs like this work better with an after market head unit as the receivers audio output signal would be much stronger than line inputs from a factory head unit. The factory Bose Sub-woofer stomps all over them into non existance. Waste of $400 bucks.
