I just bought 2 of these to replace my 2 15" Alpine Type R. OMFG these 12's are the loudest i have ever heard. So much more bass then my Type Rs. i can't believe these subs they sound better then my friend RD Audio Super Heavyweight 18" his system cost him over $3500 and mine cost me under $800. I have my subs hooked up on a Alpine MRP-M2000 and a shuriken BT100 and all 4gauge wiring.

These subwoofer are sick right out the box. I have 2 12" being powered be MTX 91002 amp which is 1500 RMS. My box is nowhere close to specs and still they hit ((HARD)) I'm on my way to making a bigger box.
Last week i was at my local audio shop. The guy at the desk asked me if I had 2 15" hcca in my car now because before i had one 15" hcca. I told him i sold my hcca and I'm running 2 MTX TS85 he was shock. He said he herd me coming from 2 blocks away and thought i had upgraded my system to 2 15". MTX DON'T BE MEAN SHOW THEM HOW LOUD YOU CAN SCREAM.

WOW I went to a local car show in my city. This guy had 2 of these in his Volkswagen Golf. They sound so louder then my 2 12" RE Audio XXX. He had them hooked up to a Alpine MRP M2000. I asked him whats the RMS on each woofer. He said 750 and mtx under rated them. So i did not believe him. I'm running a Rockford Fosgate T2500 to my sub and they sound good but not as good as this guy.

I recently purchased this sub due to wanting to downsize from a 15'' sub and to save some space. The guy i got it from said 1 was enough for him and gave me a good deal. When i finally got this monster hooked up, i was blown away. So much SPL and SQL right out the box. I can only think of one thing wrong with this sub. The cone will dent very easily. Everything else is a positive. It's a killer!!!!!!
