SickSound

WOW I went to a local car show in my city. This guy had 2 of these in his Volkswagen Golf. They sound so louder then my 2 12" RE Audio XXX. He had them hooked up to a Alpine MRP M2000. I asked him whats the RMS on each woofer. He said 750 and mtx under rated them. So i did not believe him. I'm running a Rockford Fosgate T2500 to my sub and they sound good but not as good as this guy.

These pound like hell.

I have 2 mtx thunder 8512 12" subs and they are powered but a Polk audio pa1000.1 amp @ 1 ohm and I can't believe how much these sub pound. I'm running 0 awg wire with the big three under the hood and I don't know anyone who has anything close to compare to the performance of my system. Insane is not even Enough of a word to explane the slamming and pound you In the back of yor head not to mention the fact that it sereiously takes your breath away. I've had many systems and this one is by far the best. Try them out if your looking for something that is said to be too much cause that is exactly what they are. Thanks mtx I've never been happier.

Mind Blowing

These subwoofer are sick right out the box. I have 2 12" being powered be MTX 91002 amp which is 1500 RMS. My box is nowhere close to specs and still they hit ((HARD)) I'm on my way to making a bigger box.
Last week i was at my local audio shop. The guy at the desk asked me if I had 2 15" hcca in my car now because before i had one 15" hcca. I told him i sold my hcca and I'm running 2 MTX TS85 he was shock. He said he herd me coming from 2 blocks away and thought i had upgraded my system to 2 15". MTX DON'T BE MEAN SHOW THEM HOW LOUD YOU CAN SCREAM.

Beast subwoofer

This subwoofer is loud and so much bass. I have 1 12" on a Kicker 750 and this thing vibrates my whole car. My set up is louder then my friend 2 W6s.

SLAMZ!

I recently purchased this sub due to wanting to downsize from a 15'' sub and to save some space. The guy i got it from said 1 was enough for him and gave me a good deal. When i finally got this monster hooked up, i was blown away. So much SPL and SQL right out the box. I can only think of one thing wrong with this sub. The cone will dent very easily. Everything else is a positive. It's a killer!!!!!!

Loud!

This sub was so ridiculous when I first through it in a 2 cubic ft ported box. I had it hooked up to a kicker 750.1 and it slammed. The clarity was very good too. I would have to say that this sub would easily compete with the L7 if not better. Fantastic woofer with great looks too.

Ecxellent in everything Five STAR

I just bought 2 of these to replace my 2 15" Alpine Type R. OMFG these 12's are the loudest i have ever heard. So much more bass then my Type Rs. i can't believe these subs they sound better then my friend RD Audio Super Heavyweight 18" his system cost him over $3500 and mine cost me under $800. I have my subs hooked up on a Alpine MRP-M2000 and a shuriken BT100 and all 4gauge wiring.

Nasty subs

I have two of these hooked up in a scion tc and WOW. I had to replace the seal on my trunk. I'm running 1000watts to each sub. They are RMS at 750 but haven't even blinked at 1000. highly recommended. MTX has never failed me

Proud owner of two MTX Squares

These are the best 12" subs I've ever used, and the bigger the box the better it performs.

Legit Thunder

I have 2 of those on the MTX thunder elite 1501D, just the box haven't finish building it. It's already nice looking everything. The only down side is playing for over 4 hours to break in. Damn, that's a long time. but it's all about the sound and look. Best subs I have ever owned so far. Just little over priced that's all, but people will buy anything at different price levels.

good but pricey

Killer sub but think of it as a 15" and ditch mtx's box specs if you like your music. I use a much bigger box and I end up with a smile on my face every time I drive.
