Great value.

November 28, 2014

It was exactly what I needed to cleanly install an amplifier to my factory stereo with no splicing or altering of the factory wire harness.

Amp adding made easy

June 8, 2011

Best part is you do not have to cut any factory wires just plug and play to add a subwoofer amp on the rear RCA, plus 12v remote output is nice too.

I added a amp and sub to my 2012 Ram truck. Eliminates the need for splicing into your factory harness. Provides turn-on wire if you need it.

Installed in Town & Country van - made it easy

September 6, 2012

I have the MyGig RER unit and wanted to add amps and subs. This unit made my life soooo much more easier. The PAC unit gave me low level outs for the amps and I also tapped the high level speaker wires for hookup of all speakers without the need to touch the stock internal harness. I put in Kicker speakers, Boss amps and Rockford subs from Sonic and it greatly improved audio performance.

will this work on a 2013 with the 8.4 uconnect ram 1500?
hunter c on Jul 27, 2015
Best Answer: Hello Hunter,

No. Compatibility of this unit is limited to the vehicles specified in the description. Unfortunately, there are no alternatives for you vehicle at this time. We suggest considering the traditional means of a processor (e.g. Audiocontrol LC6i) and/or consulting an installer for details.

This says it is compatible for 2008 Dodge Avengers. Will it work to hook up an amp in my 2012 Avenger sxt with standard sound package?
Bryan g on Nov 9, 2015
Best Answer: Hello,

Unfortunately, it will not work for any Avenger outside of 2008.

In addition, there is no alternative. We recommend a traditional Line Out Converter, Equalizer with High Level inputs or a Processor .

Will this fit a 2014 dodge charger non amplified stereo?
A shopper on Jul 16, 2015
Best Answer: Hello,

Your vehicle is not listed in the compatibility list, making it safe to assume that it is not compatible. Unfortunately, there isn't an alternative option. We suggest considering a traditional LOC or a proper AudioControl LOC/Processor.

I have a 2012 ram 2500 I want to add two amplifiers and retain the stock radio can I run a rca splitter off of the rear rca outs off of the pac aoem-chr3 to accomplish this?
Tim M on Jan 28, 2015
Best Answer: Hello Tim,

To answer your question first: Yes, but we would HIGHLY recommend against it. Splitting the signal will also split the Signal Quality, and the outcome will likely be a very undesirable Sound Quality. HOWEVER, your vehicle is NOT compatible with the PAC AOEM-CHR3 (its not listed in the compatibility list) .

Your vehicle/project will require a traditional Line Out Converter. The AudioControl LC7i will be the most practical if your vehicle does Not have a Third Channel to provide a typical LOC like the Kicker KISLOC .

Will this work with a new 2015 jeep wrangler unlimited. Also are the rca's preamp outs or speaker outs. Then can only the rear rca,s be used to amplify the roll bar speakers thus retain head unit output for the front speakers?
Paul M on Dec 29, 2014
Best Answer: Hello Paul,

Unfortunately, the AOEM-CHR3 is not confirmed as being compatible with your vehicle. You can view the list on the manufacture's site, linked below. To the second part of question; The RCAs are low level outs, and will NOT properly power a Passive speaker - like that found in the roll bar.
