Good sounding speakers. At first they were a little on the bright side but they warmed up after their break in. Have the tweeters set -4db installed in a 04 Silverado.

SR60 have great tweeters and exception highs but lack midbass like most of Bostons components. If you have a good sub I would highly rec. Going with these or the pros (which don't have bass either) but if you dont have a good sub I would rec. going with the JL C5's which have great midbass

I was a little hesitant to pick these up after reading the reviews on this site, but my budget was under $200 for a set so I was not willing to grab the Pro's and I am glad I went with my gut because these speakers sound fantastic in my very small car. I only have these components for speakers in my 2 seater (I pulled the rear 3" out) and the sound is amazing, crystal clear highs, and decent mids, to my ears they are a great sounding speaker set. I had a 5 year old Infinity Reference pair before these and to my ear, these sound much warmer to me.
I have a Pioneer digital amp feeding 75 watts to each component set and they crank! very detailed sound stage.
My only complaint is the crossovers could use a redesign IMO, they are HUGE and setting them up is a little different, but after tucking them in behind my center console all is well.
Highly recommended by my ears.

I have had Bostons in three of my auto's and in my theatre room. They never disappoint! Definitely recommend these speakers. Not too 'tingy or extreme highs', more realistic and smooth sound.
