Factory Appeal, Aftermarket Functionality
This is an EXCLUSIVE special from Sonic Electronix. There is NOTHING on the market that compares with this unit at $99.99! A brand name, double DIN CD/MP3 player with a USB Front Input and 3.5mm Front Aux Input, and it's made by Eclipse, not an unknown import brand. Equivalent units with these features are at $200-$300.
The Eclipse CD1200G was released earlier in the year (2009) for their exclusive/premier installers only. Regular car stereo shops didn't get a chance to sell this amazing unit and Eclipse premier installers had a rough year due to the economy. We stepped up and bought the entire inventory from Eclipse and are now offering it at an amazing price that is lower than what the premier installers were first purchasing it at! Eclipse is known in the industry for making the highest quality electronics and the CD1200G is no exception.
The Eclipse CD1200G comes with a 1-year warranty and a sleek look that is sure to match any vehicle's interior. It also has iPod compatibility (with the purchase of the IPC-009 iPod Cable), and 2 sets of RCA Preamp Outputs.

For more information on the Eclipse CD1200G, see the
Owner's Manual. The manual is not included in the product box, however we have it available for download here.
Other Notes: The iPC-009 iPod connection cable is compatible with this unit, even though the iPC-008 is in the product manual. We have tested the iPC-009 to be compatible with this unit and Eclipse has confirmed their typographical mistake on their website and in their manual.

It's great! It's able to play a regular music cd, an mp3 cd, or mp3's from a usb drive. The best thing is the Auxilary line in on the front, you can play any music from your portable device. I use Pandora on my blackberry and play it via the line in on the stereo, it's pissa! Also, the unit only cost 109 when I bought it. Sounds great on my factory speakers (Subaru WRX). I don't think you can get a double-size stereo at this price that is any better. Unless you're an audiophile, you should buy this one.

Got this head-unit for my Volvo V70 2.5T 2004. Much, much better then stock stereo. Built myself 2-din frame which took a while. But installing the Eclipse was simple. Just recently added Bazuka sub, and even though Eclipse doesn't have dedicated sub output, connecting it to line-out gives me good bass. for the price/quality i'm satisfied. Got it mostly to use USB, and it does it well. Reads MP3, WMA, AAC no problems, 4gb cards max. You can use larger size, but it won't read pass 4gb of music files. Only 1 out of 8 flash drives didn't work with it, which means it has great compatibility ratio. Works even with USB SDcard adapters. had to read manual to figure out how to browse folders and setup clock. Now, for 4 -5 month of owning it, i'm glad i got it. The only way it's out of my dashboard is if i decide to get DVD with navigation instead.
