Introducing the newest line of Kicker amplifiers, the IX Series. For the first time ever in Kicker history, they have entered the world of full range Class D technology. The amplifiers have been carefully designed and engineered with the incredible attention to detail, intense research and development, as well as proprietary Kicker components that only Kicker amplifiers are made with. The result is a dependable and highly efficient Class D amplifier that can produce an enormous amount of power. Kicker has manufactured a new Fail-Safe Integration (FIT) technology into all of their amplifiers. The differential inputs will use a muting circuit that will block out any additional noise that may stream down the line. Good amp
I'm not a car stereo guru by any means. This amp does what I want it too. I've got it in an '87 VW Vanagon pushing four door speakers and an 8" sub. It's plenty.
I chose it because of the price at the time and the size. I was looking at some of the other digital amps but this fit my budget better at the time. I was never a kicker fan, always thought it was a walmart brand. I'm happy with the amp and will explore other kicker products.

This an excellent solution if you are limited on space. Tons of power and tiny footprint make this the perfect balance between size and power. I would definitely recommend this amp.
