Class D KICKER Power
Introducing the newest line of Kicker amplifiers, the IX Series. For the first time ever in Kicker history, they have entered the world of full range Class D technology. Full Range Class D mean High Output
The four-channel IX amplifier is a one of a kind. Offering a full range of amplified frequencies across four audio channels. With the installation of this single amplifier, a vehicle can have all four speakers powered with Kicker power. For the Kicker IX500.4 amplifier that means 75 Watts x 4 Channels at 4 ohms, and an impressive 125 Watts x 4 Channels at 2 ohms! No matter what type of after market speakers are installed, the IX amp will provide plenty of clean power. Since the amplifier is bridgeable, it can be configured in 4 channels, 3 channels, or 2 channels. It also features an advanced 12 dB/octave electronic crossover for the finer acoustic tuning. Following Kicker's tradition of high output, each amp exceeds the rated power. That means the 500 Watts RMS is actually more than that. Each amplifier is tested, rated, and given a "birth sheet" in the Kicker factory that listed the tested power. Every amp exceeds the rated power. That just one more reason to choose Kicker!
Kicker Fail Safe Technology (FIT):
Kicker has manufactured a new Fail-Safe Integration (FIT) technology into all of their amplifiers. The FIT technology uses isolated differential inputs in order to reject noise or electrical interferences, caused by engines, alternators or any other audio or video component throughout your vehicle. The differential inputs will use a muting circuit that will block out any additional noise that may stream down the line. The FIT technology will help created the cleanest and purest sound possible for any audio system. The Kicker FIT technology is setting the standard for high quality sound.
