The Big 3 Upgrade should be the first step you take when adding a aftermarket sound system to your vehicle. The Big 3 consist of upgrading the alternator wire to the battery, the negative battery cable to vehicle ground, and engine ground to chassis. This process is sure to help eliminate dimming headlights and voltage drops by providing you with enough juice to power everything in your vehicle without additional resistance. 1/0 Gauge power & ground wire should be used when executing the upgrade, the thicker wire ensures the best possible current transfer and can re-energize your vehicles electrical system.
