When replacing your factory radio with an after-market car stereo, the Scosche BW01B wire harness is a must for a quick and clean installation. It eliminates cutting your OE radio plug. After connecting it, your install is simple as the wires will color-match and easily connect to the after-market stereo. Without the Scosche BW01B, you would have to cut the OE radio plug and manually test each wire to connect to your after-market receiver.
In addition, because you do not have to cut your OE radio plug off, the GM02B allows you to reinstall your factory receiver if necessary. A great example is if you sold your car, but wanted to keep your after-market radio and re-install your factory stereo receiver. We also recommend the Scosche BOBAZT for a quick connection that is sure to last.

Vehicle: 2002 BMW 330i
Works OK stock but a bit bulky. I had to get key-hold saw to remove a rear plastic brace to get my new stereo (Pioeneer DEH-P5200HD) to fit. Also, if you're going to enable your steering wheel controls by adding the Axxess ASWC (which works great by the way) then you'll need to relocate the orange pin. It designated for illumination brightness control but most radios will ignore it. Instead you need to move the pin to an adjacent hole in order to pick up the steering wheel control signals (see the pinout in Axxess ASWC instruction sheet). I used pliers to yank the pin out and then put it back in the right hole.

Installed in a 2001 E46 BMW 325i.
Easy to solder and distinguish the correct colours. Wires come pre-cut avoiding the hassle of de-shielding them yourself. Highly recommended.
