Fast and seamless playback of audio files is standard, as well as video files with the included video cable. The EQ7 and advanced sound engines tune the music to perfection so you can hear the music the way it should be heard. Switch over to the SensMe application and let it choose the music for you. Along with the seamless iPod connection, Sony incorporates high-end audio processing into this unit. A 24-bit Digital-to Analog converter ensures higher quality sound processing of the music. And if that isn’t enough, Dolby Digital support comes standard on this unit to make your movies experience that much better.

Mirror Link. Take Control MirrorLink technology offers seamless connectivity between smart phones (select Android) and your XAV-701HD receiver. The technology is extremely simple to use: approved applications, content and controls are mirrored from the smartphone onto the receiver.

TeleNAV for iPhone Simply connect your iPhone and launch you Telenav GPS app via USB input to the XAV-701HD and see directions on your receiver’s screen while hearing them over the car speakers. Addtional App or subscription fees may apply depending on your carrier.

Integrated Bluetooth Technology Take calls and stream audio with the XAV-701HD receiver’s Bluetooth technology. Connect to compatible devices and choose from hands free phone access, phonebook access, Pandora internet radio control or streaming audio. Display icons light up to indicate incoming text messages, signal strength and battery level of your connected smartphone.

Custom Sound Settings with EQ7 The Advanced Sound Engine uses EQ7 equalizer, adjustable LPF/HPF crossovers, Listener Position calibration, DM+ advanced sound restoration, Rear Bass Enhancer, and Dynamic Loudness volume leveler to deliver an impressive listening experience.

5V RCA Outputs for System Expansion When you’re ready to expand your system, the XAV-701HD delivers a robust 5 volts to front, rear and subwoofer RCA pre-amp outputs for external amplifiers. The adjustable subwoofer level control also lets you dial in the bass when you’re ready to pump it up.

SiriusXM Satellite Radio Ready The on-board SiriusXM connector simplifies satellite radio installation by eliminating compatibility issues and providing direct connection to the new platform of tuners. SIRIUS SCC1 (SC-C1) SiriusConnect Universal Vehicle Tuner sold seperately.
