Note: Many companies claim their wire is 0 gauge or 4 gauge when in reality it is 2/3 instead of 0 or 5/6 gauge instead of 4 gauge with more plastic insulation to present an illusion of 0 or 4 gauge. Scosche did not want to make a false representation of their quality product so they specify their wire in millimeters, not the standard gauge system. We have decided that to present fair competition to the likes of "house brand" wire, and other unfair manufacturers which label their 0 or 4 gauge wire as such when it is less wire than what is included in the E3200.

I dont think the wires are quite true gauge wires but not skimpy either, i am running over 1500 RMS on this kit right now with no problems.

I was planning on purchasing this item to wire in my two amps (Bazooka 500x1 RMS and a Visonik "800w" peak). I am on a tight budget so I was looking for the best bang for my buck. After reading the reviews, I did a little research into the MM sizing of this wire. I have discovered two things. First, I discovered that when they are using MM for wire gauging, they must be using it as MM squared since it is the closest in relation to the chart. Second, it is stated that the 0 Ga wire is "15.5 MM", which would actually make it closer to 5 ga AWG (4ga: 5.19mm, 21.14mm2;
5ga: 4.62mm, 16.76mm2; 6ga: 4.11mm, 13.29mm2) and the 9.5mm would be closer to 7-8ga AWG ( 7ga: 3.67mm, 10.55mm2; 8ga: 3.26mm, 8.36mm2) I am not writing this to discourage the purchase of this kit since it has many great features for the money (Batt. Term, fused Dist. block, H.D. ring terminals), BUT I am writing this because of the notation about it being "true" wire gauging. I have used Scosche products before with no issues, but that was with one amp. Now installing two amps, I want to be sure of how I am wiring them to prevent any issues. After using a conversion chart, I think I will find another kit that IS true AWG!

My First Wiring kit i ever bought and i have no problems. Got a very clean look. I had amps from 600 watts @ 2ohms to 3500 watts @ 1 ohms connected and didn't have to worry about power or fuses popping!! cheap and affordable!

I love this power kit. Had many features than more high-end power kits. The only thing I would recommend is to get a gauge adapter that is 0g to 4g so it will be easier and cleaner looking on the battery
