Superior Sound Staging
Hifonics Zeus speakers have been engineered with some key elements directly into their main design: premium sound quality, durability, and a low profile design to fit in many different vehicles! Zeus speakers use the latest in titanium ceramic cone materials and engineering to provide a state-of-the-art speaker. At the center of the titanium ceramic composite cone is an ultra-light, rigid bass driver that provides an extremely smooth response.
Paired with a Neodymium silk dome (NSD) tweeter design is a 360° radial air-cooled motor structure and magnet assembly to handle the most extreme power. The Hifonics’ NSD provides smooth frequency response up to 25,000 Hz that is perfect for the exacting audio enthusiast. Also featured is a bright blue LED that illuminates when the speakers are on. Appropriately named Sound Light, the Hifonics logo vibrantly appears on certain models by means of illuminating back lights. On component speakers, the speaker dust cap illuminates the logo.
Hifonics Zeus series value is incorporated directly into the cost and the quality stands out beyond anything with these speakers. Hifonics Zeus ZXi series speakers provide exceptional staging and overall tone reproduction is superb.

I bought these to replace some cruch p1 6x9's. I wanted to get some that were a bit smoother. Wanted to get that overly bright highs out of my system. These speakers were just what I was looking for. They get high, yet smooth and warm. You dont get that metallic bright high pitch. The lows are fair, but i have Orions to take kare of that lol. The blue lite that goes with the beat to the music is kinda cool i guess. But cant really see them because of the location the speakers are in (oem). My only gripe is that they say maxxfit, not really lol its big magnet and its huge rubber boot get in the way of the trunk hangers. So i had to eightysix the hangers. Now my trunk needs something to prop it up, which kinda sux. Other than that, great pair of speakers. So keep these in mind when you are in the market for some new 6x9's that play loud and smooth with good amount of low end.

I used these in my grand prix and noticed that they cut out the highs at three quarter volume and must cool down before they will put out highs anymore, this was with the amp they are designed to work with, not a good buy, installer for 15 years, dont waste your money and time, not worth it.

Had these hooked up to an American Bass Pro 4 channel amp 60/150 watts at 2 ohms and I had them wired at 4 ohms so they were getting less power than that ad they only lasted about a month. They sounded good while they lasted but the right burned up with just about 70% volume up and bass at 60% and the left lasted about a week longer. I have Hifonics 6.5" components running off the same amp and they're fine, so maybe it's just a bad set. Either way they're out of warranty so I'm going with a different brand.

I just got a set of these 6x9's and am powering them with a Hifonics ZX640, I found when i turn my volume up past 2/3rds that the tweeters automatically fade out to keep from blowing. are these intended to be used with a cross over. theyre worth it fot the money but i didnt expect the tweeters to do that. at low to mid volume they sound GREAT
