They're okay

Cons; they lasted about a year, there a little bit louder then stock speakers but they're still okay.

I would not specifically recommend these speakers
but I don't really regret buying them, so if you want to go ahead and get a pair; they are decent.

Bad review = Bad install

Title says it all. The bad reviews means they don't know **** about how to make speakers sound good. If you don't tune your amp right you will blow any speakers and if these weren't loud enough for you then understand you headunit only puts out 20RMS per channel. Underpowered they are louder than stock and powered they are FUN. They have bass like a BOSE system but if your going to play them loud lower the bass and thats just regular for any speaker. I've had mine for some time now and havn't blown them yet, if I do Ill buy them again cause they are extremely under priced.

Awesome

These speakers can take a good beating, i have this product in my car and it bangs like hell, it has good bass and great sound.
The only problem i have had with them is that the glue holding a type of "cloth" between the tweeter and the bass element came loose and making a weird sound when playing, so i had to put some glue on it.
But they are cheap and you get ALLOT for your money.

Very good of a aftermarket deck

Very loud off of a 55 rms x 4 aftermarket deck highs are clean lows had to cut out at 66 hz because I have a dodge caliber and the door panels are all rattle. They are not low profile at all.

only good at low level volume

I used these in my grand prix and noticed that they cut out the highs at three quarter volume and must cool down before they will put out highs anymore, this was with the amp they are designed to work with, not a good buy, installer for 15 years, dont waste your money and time, not worth it.

Don't handle much power

Had these hooked up to an American Bass Pro 4 channel amp 60/150 watts at 2 ohms and I had them wired at 4 ohms so they were getting less power than that ad they only lasted about a month. They sounded good while they lasted but the right burned up with just about 70% volume up and bass at 60% and the left lasted about a week longer. I have Hifonics 6.5" components running off the same amp and they're fine, so maybe it's just a bad set. Either way they're out of warranty so I'm going with a different brand.

zxi-693

I just got a set of these 6x9's and am powering them with a Hifonics ZX640, I found when i turn my volume up past 2/3rds that the tweeters automatically fade out to keep from blowing. are these intended to be used with a cross over. theyre worth it fot the money but i didnt expect the tweeters to do that. at low to mid volume they sound GREAT

Good Stuff

I bought these for my '06 Dodge Stratus, they hit the highs and mids really great, and I'm sure if I wired an amp to them the bass would be great too. Just no need for the bass from the 6x9 when I'm pushn 10k Watts in the Trunk already. Overall, these 6x9's put out enough treble / mids to hear clearly over the bass. No distortion whatsoever.

MAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im a big car audio fan and these are by far some of the loudest 6x9s that ive ever heard they are so clear.the highs on these 6x9s are 2nd to almost none.if you get these you wont regret them my friend has the kicker 6x9s and i got the hifonic 6x9s and the highs on my 6x9s are louder then the kickers and they are cheaper.if you get these speakers you will not regret it because they are very very loud.

smooth highs

I bought these to replace some cruch p1 6x9's. I wanted to get some that were a bit smoother. Wanted to get that overly bright highs out of my system. These speakers were just what I was looking for. They get high, yet smooth and warm. You dont get that metallic bright high pitch. The lows are fair, but i have Orions to take kare of that lol. The blue lite that goes with the beat to the music is kinda cool i guess. But cant really see them because of the location the speakers are in (oem). My only gripe is that they say maxxfit, not really lol its big magnet and its huge rubber boot get in the way of the trunk hangers. So i had to eightysix the hangers. Now my trunk needs something to prop it up, which kinda sux. Other than that, great pair of speakers. So keep these in mind when you are in the market for some new 6x9's that play loud and smooth with good amount of low end.
