Superior Sound Staging
Hifonics Zeus speakers have been engineered with some key elements directly into their main design: premium sound quality, durability, and a low profile design to fit in many different vehicles! Zeus speakers use the latest in titanium ceramic cone materials and engineering to provide a state-of-the-art speaker. At the center of the titanium ceramic composite cone is an ultra-light, rigid bass driver that provides an extremely smooth response.
Paired with a Neodymium silk dome (NSD) tweeter design is a 360° radial air-cooled motor structure and magnet assembly to handle the most extreme power. The Hifonics’ NSD provides smooth frequency response up to 25,000 Hz that is perfect for the exacting audio enthusiast. Also featured is a bright blue LED that illuminates when the speakers are on. Appropriately named Sound Light, the Hifonics logo vibrantly appears on certain models by means of illuminating back lights. On component speakers, the speaker dust cap illuminates the logo.
Hifonics Zeus series value is incorporated directly into the cost and the quality stands out beyond anything with these speakers. Hifonics Zeus ZXi series speakers provide exceptional staging and overall tone reproduction is superb.

Good speakers for the price.
Crossovers are large (something like 3 1/2" by 5") making it hard to find a spot for them.
Speaker cutout size isn't listed anywhere, but seem to be right around 4 1/2". Tweeter cutout size is just a touch larger than 1 3/4".
Efficiency is listed as 91db, but I don't quite believe this number as the 91db speakers in my rear deck are quite a bit louder.

For a value set of components with high power handling and 4ohm, these things fit the bill. I never had heard of Hifonics before, but reading the other opinions made me take the plunge. Besides, I previously blew a set of JBL since their max power was 90, so I figured these Hifonics would work, and thus far, they have. In fact, I plan to twist up the gain a bit more on my front channels to let the amp work a bit more.
Pros: shallow mounting depth, high power handling, installation flexibility with the tweeters, sound way better than what I had before. Way better.
cons: the xover is thick. It's average in size at L x W, but they were thicker than I expected. For a application that needs a thin xover, these are not a good choice. No problem for me as they still fit in my door, just not as easily as my old ones.
other thoughts; I guess they have some LEDs that can be hooked up. I didn't use that. Comes with a good amount of installation hardware like quite a few screws, a few different tweeter mounts and some other finishings, none of which I used but someone probably needs that stuff.
