Great headunit at great price.

So you have some background information, before I installed this unit I also purchased:

2x Rockford 4x6's for my front
2x Rockford 6x9's for my rear

The deck is a great unit, however I own a 2004 Chevy Cavalier so after following a dash removal on youtube i removed the stock deck. Then after prepping the Scosche adapter it was a pain in the butt to get it all to fit in there...

The reason is because on the back of the head unit there is like 6 rca thread connectors hanging and like 3 radio dongles too! this was a huge space inconvenience.. but I ziptied them all together hotdog style and after pushing and shoving its now in there...

I'de say the Scosche adapter made things really simple as far as wiring goes. but all the hanging adapters made me kinda regret this headunit.

Also I own a Zune HD which i prefer to ipod.. It only functioned properly with the aux input and has no USB support which was a bummer.

Excellent Head Unit!!

This is a Great HU. Bluetooth is very easy to set up and work Flawless, auto connect to the phone when you start the car is great, built in Mic work very well. mic have 5 levels of gain so you need to play with that in the menu to set the mic to your cabin. mine is set at 1 and works great, I speak normal and is loud and clear in the other end. Power is great, tuner sounds very good in FM. only downside for me is that the tuner doesn't Have a Seek Mode so you have to keep pressing the tune buttom to go thru the stations. Bluethooth audio streaming from my Android phone(HTC EVO)is Awsome and quality of sound is great, usb work great, but I have an older model Ipod and the HU does not recognize the song tittles,artis etc. just reads the file numbers and with 13 gigs of music is impossible to find music just with file numbers. also in the older models ipods the unit blocks the controls from the Ipod and is really hard to find music from the HU, the good thing is that doesen't happen with the newer Ipods or Iphones. I am planning to get a 32 GB Micro SD card for my phone download all my music to the phone memory card and stream the music by bluethooth. Overall Best bang for the buck!!!

Good HU

Nice HU all the features i wanted for a decent price. Its worked great for me, the only con is no 7 band equalizer. Good controls for tuning subwoofer and blending speakers.

The bluetooth does not work right with my phone (LG Optimus V), it will work fine initially but if I have to turn the car on and off it will not reconnect properly. (might be a problem with the phone, or android)

Best Deal for the Money

I tried to do a lot of research before I purchased this deck. If you are looking for a system that has built-in bluetooth and iPod or mp3 capabilities, this is the best value for your money. It sounds great with the exception of the radio seeming to get slightly poor reception, but I really don't listen to the radio since I use my iPod with it.

The best part is that you don't have to buy any extra cables like you would with many other head units. Although, I will say that the bluetooth auto-connect feature on this unit did not work straight out of the box, I had to go in and turn it off and then back on. After that, it has worked great. I have had a couple of glitches with my iPod connection, it usually works fine, but I have had to unplug it and plug it back in to have it work.

The one negative to using the unit to browse through songs on your iPod is that it always starts with the "A"s so going through the songs to get to the end of the alphabet takes some work. I mainly bought this for the bluetooth for my phone, since it is now illegal to talk on your cell while driving in Washington. The phone sound is fine, but make sure you place the mic closer to the drivers side if you want the other person to be able to hear you without you having to yell. Overall a great unit and I'm happy that I purchased it. There are better decks out there if you want to spend the money, but for the price, I definitely recommend this one.

Best I've had

Has every option I need including a strong volt output for the sub amp. My first time having a bluetooth option to stream the music from my smartphone to this sweetass head unit. Most importantly, easy to use 'search' for folders & files when in a hurry to crank up an MP3 that was requested.

Very good product/features for the money!

This unit met all our needs, and installation was a piece of cake once we got the old unit out of the way. Directions were clear and the unit has worked well for us for the past 6 months.

Bang for the buck

After a little time figuring it out, this is a great unit. All the features I wanted. In a price range I could deal with. The best bang for the buck.

Excellent stereo

Good looking head unit, very bright blue light but the screan is a little on the dull side. Great sound, works well with mp3 CD's, flash drive, bluetooth and music streaming is awsome.

pretty good buy

Everything works great on this unit except streaming audio sometimes. Sometimes when you try to connect and stream the music it says its connected but it doesn't work so you have to disconnect and reconnect your phone. Aggrivating but still works.

Bluetooth works great. Good sound from unit. Good eq controls too.

This is the best value your going to get from a cd player without spending 200 dollars. Can't go wrong buying this one.
