This is a great amp power kit! I've bought three of them for different cars that I have owned. The cables are excellent quality and easy to route.

Nice install kit!

This is a quality kit with true 8 AWG wire. Has a high strand count and very flexible. The only con i have with the kit is they give you a ring terminal and spade for the ground wire but only a single ring terminal for the power wire but no spade to connect to your amp. I don't understand that but it's not a big deal. I would buy this again.

Great kit for the money

This was the least expensive kit I could find to install my sub. It worked fine and had all the bits and pieces needed. Didn't really want blue wire but I wire-loomed everything anyway so it doesn't show up. Recommended!

Bang for the buck!

This is by no means Kicker quality... But it is also by no means Kicker price. You get what you pay for. For a CHEAP entry level system, this is sufficient. Wouldn't push it all that hard though.

Awesome install kit

I'm running four 8" subs off of two 175watt RMS amps, and the cables don't even get hot, even at very high levels.

1.5 years after install, they are holding up just fine.

Comes with good quality gold plated connectors that don't fall off.

If you are resourceful, this has enough cables do do an install on two cars.

Very good quality cable with high quality insulation. The hardware that came with it was of high quality too... better than most generic electronic connections.

I wish the power cable was a bit longer, though... ended up using it and the ground cable just for the positive line. Finding more wire isn't hard, but it was an inconvenience.

I bought this product as a gift for my father who loves to jog, but has a hard time hearing his tunes on his MP3. Even at full volume, he still could barely hear the music. works as advertised

Does increase the audio level, not sure it's doubled, but that's had to tell and subjective. Wish it had a level control and also amplified to a higher gain 6db would have been nice. But, it does what it was advertised to do so it gets a thumbs up from me.

Good buy

I use this product to amplify the signal from my MP3 player to feed it into the stereo system. It works well for that purpose. The amplification Boostaroo provides is fixed. I wish it provides a bit more amplification.

The ground and power wires are coated with thin plastic instead of the red or blue braided heavier coating. If you get a tiny slit or cut in them you will lose the amp for awhile and have to get another $30 install kit so be careful with those two wires.

bosteroo T613 total joke do not buy

the T613 requires an old-configuration alkaline battery to be the lead battery or it will not work. the trailing battery can be any kind of battery. the old-config alkalines are no longer manufactured. new alkalines do not work

the port through which the output signal is circular. this means it can twist 180 degrees and eventually becomes flaky and then dies off altogether.

the translucent plastic piece that snaps over the batteries loses its grip after 3 months and has to be held on by a rubber band

Overall this kit was very nice and of good quality. It does include connectors, grommets, 1 single spade connector, 1 butt connector etc. However those little accessories are very low quality and I would suggest buying your own from the local hardware store.

However, the wires and fuse themselves were very good quality and I would buy again.

Thinner than I thought it would be

Just ordered the exact same product in 8 gauge from a different site. when it arrive I compared it to othe pieces of 8 gauge wire I had and appeared to be about half as much metal/wire as the other pieces I had. Im not sure if this is low quality or not I havnt hooked it up to any amp yet but it just seems more like 10 gauge wire than 8 gauge wire

Amplifies LINE-OUT audio enabling use of any headphones. There are 3 outputs for 3 listeners. Since the volume level from LINE-OUT is independent from the standard volume control, I can watch TV with its volume turned OFF while comfortably listening to the audio stream via headphones. It operates on two AA batteries, which eliminate the 60 Hz noise from the power line. Only most expensive amplifiers can be so quiet. The audio quality and the dynamic range are great. The power consumption from the batteries is insignificant. For some headphones (Apple, active noise canceling) the output volume level may be too high. Some output control would be beneficial. Overall it is great product, very competitively priced.

Boostaroo did the trick.

I needed a way to share a DVD player with three kids on an aircraft. Boostaroo provided enough amplification that the kids could easily hear their movies. I appreciate that the audio cable was integrated into the device, giving me one less part to track. Also I like that it runs on regular AA batteries. Now my wife and I use it with our Roku remote in order to watch evening show without disturbing the kids. I would have preferred a longer audio cable, but it is long enough for most needs. It would have been nice to have separate audio volume controls on the outputs. Still a great product.

unbelievable difference

Best Amp Kit Around

Great amp kit, this will be the third car i've bought this for including a hybrid and i've seen it go through two iterations and them changing the fuse holder so you know they're listening to complaints. My only complaint still is you have to buy a second RCA when you buy it. Never had any of the cables be cut by anything on accident or anything i did have an old alpine amp that would cause one of the braids to fray but that was the amps fault. Yeah its not your beefy zero gauge stuff but not everyone wants or most of all can afford that. Overall great cables, great discreet fuse holder, includes all you need at a great price.

Get what you pay for

This kit gets the job done, but don't expect anything beyond that. Not that I'm complaining, it was the cheapest kit I could find on this site. If you are running 500 watts or less this is the kit for you. If you got a couple mofo's you should get a better kit.

The better option

The power and ground wires in this kit might be slightly less than 8 gauge. But still close enough that they will work fine for most amps that work wire 8 gauge input. Cables are long enough to reach the back of just about any car. And a kit is much more convenient and cheaper than having to buy all the pieces separately.

cant go wrong

I have just bought these subs about 6 months ago to put in my 1995 s10. I got 10s bc i didnt want too much bass but that didnt work. I also have the Hifonics 2000w amp running them. They are so loud and clear and i no longer keep a rear view mirror it just cant stay on the windshield anymore.. The only con is the sound pollution tickets and when im driving it feels like im getting kicked in the back. I keep em bumpin everytime i go out and they havent let me down yet. Soniceletronix didnt mess aronud with shipping them to me either..

Best Amp for around 100 dollars

This amp pushes 2 kicker 12s with ease. Very stable at 2 ohms as well. CEA 2006 certified amp so you know its pushing clean power... couldn't ask for any more, jensen makes quality products that can take a beating.

Awesome sound

These are the second solo-barics I've owned and I have to say that the sound from these is much bigger than you'd think would come from a 10. They are very durable, last a long time and are sexy, what more is there to say...Kicker's always a good choice, and these are well worth the money...plus, SonicElectronix carries them much cheaper than the places around town or elsewhere, and I've always had great service from this site. Definitely a thumbs up.

3 Kicker Solo Baric L5's

This sub is a beast. I have 3 of them in an 01 Oldsmobile Alero. I have two in a 1 cubic foot each (under what they recommend) dual ported box. And teh other one is in a sealed .75 cubic foot box. I know it might not be recommended but it pounds like crazy. I have them ran at 2.6 ohms on a Kenwood Kac-X1200M and it pushes them no problem. These subs are very equal to the 10" L7's plus they're cheaper. So definitely recommended.

Suprisingly good amp!!!

I received this amp on 2/20/09 and i use it to power my MTX 4500 12" in a sledgehammer box and IT POUNDS! It even came with a birth certificate telling you the exact specs of the amp. Works great, kinda big for a 1000 watt amp but it certainly exceeded my expectations. Great price too for a name brand amplifier.

Great buy for the price

I bought this amp to power my 10" Kicker CVR and it does an awesome job. When I got it, the birth sheet said the amp was rated at 525w RMS (almost 100 free watts) which is a little overpowered for the sub, but the Kicker handles it without any problems. Also you can turn the bass up or down without adjusting anything on your head unit thanks to the individual bass control that comes with it. The only Con I can find it is runs pretty hot sometimes, but it still has never shut down on me so far. I haven't seen any other amp in this price range that compares to this one, its a must buy for anyone who wants something cheap and powerful.

Free shipping was great and the amp looks great its CEA compliant so you know it can run what it says on the box it actually lists 350 watts RMS at 4 ohm but then states the CEA 290 watts RMS. Overall great Powerful amp I'm afraid I'll blow my 250 RMS Pioneers now might have to upgrade. Great deal. Only gave 4 stars on durability because I haven't owned the amp very long so I can't actually say how durable it is but held up great so far.

when i bought this sub i thought i was gonna have a little bass. once i installed that thing my whole car started to shake like crazy! i have friends that have 2 10" subwoofers and my sub really kills them and that's because i only have one!! kicker its the best option!!! if you want to get all from this sub get a kicker amp.

Pro: this product is Cheap and "SAYS" it puts out 1050 watts
CONS: Big, Heats up fast 3mins (Use's more energy to heat the amp up then into the speaker) NEVER would use this

best "CHEAP" amp

It powers my Boston Acoustic 10 ease and the sound quality is great. I was suprised by how loud and incredibly clear the bass was even though the amp only cost $80. It over heated once but it was playing continuously for 3 hours. Also it's very big for how much power it puts out but for the price who cares about that. If you want a great amp but don't want to spend alot of money then this is the best one on the market.

Bump Bump Bump

I have always loved kicker, but got away from it for a while and this little ten in my slot ported box in my Mazda truck reminded me why i love the solobarics so much.....This things hits hard hard on a ZX 300.1 (which is also a way way underrated amp) sounds more like a 12 and hits the lows very nicely and beats the hell out of the smaller cabs. Get this now if your application allows for it.... been using for about a year and a half and finally wrote a review to reflect the day in and day out high volume pounding

I have this amp running a single MB Quartz 10" sub at 4ohms. It delivers plenty of power with my sealed enclosure. For the price it's worth buying if you are looking to power a 10" or 8" sub for sure.

Very decent box, for the price. I Have an 08S10L5 in it, for the bass on my computer. Running about 300W RMS, carver TFM-35 amp, rattles the windows, strong sub bass. I love it!
