Good Product
Used this package on my Mazda 6 i Sport and it covered the length of the car fine. Had scrap to splice off onto multiple amps.

This amp can take a beating.
I've got this baby wired to two 10" Kicker CompVR (800W RMS and 1600W MAX combined!). They're wired at 2-ohms in bridge and let me tell you, this amp can push them!

Very nice sub
First off i must say that shipping took forever. As far as the amp goes its really good. Have it pushing two 12" kicker comps and they're really slamming. I heard bad things about Sony car audio stuff so i took a risk with getting this amp. It was well worth it, gives my subs some clean, rich, deep bass. I would definitely recommended this product!

I shopped around but couldn't beat the deal I got from Sonic Electronix on this Raptor cable set for connecting my subwoofer.

Sony subwoofer 12"
This is a really great subwoofer, and sonicelectronix sold it at a really low price. The subwoofer also has a really cool look to it.

Not a bad amp if you're on a budget.
I bought this amp in May 2009. I mainly got it to power a 10" Kenwood KFC-2511 300W RMS 4-ohm Subwoofer and it overpowered it quite easily in bridged mode. I blew the first one within 24 hours, but I didn't know how to properly tune the amp and went back and exchanged it for a new subwoofer. It then powered two Kenwood KFC-2506's wired in 8-ohms and this this pounds. I'm buying a new amp and subs, so this will go into my other car. Great amp if you're on a budget.

Whoa Man
This subwoofer weighs pretty heavy for one so small and effective. Fits even under my seat or my friends Dodge Ram 2003. The cone seems like a bullet proof texture.

its ok
i bought this amp somewhere else and i have 2 12" pioneer ts-w302r subs at 2 ohms and this amp pushes them very well, but the down fall is that it gets hot very quickly and it shuts off after playing for 20 minutes and the amp is only turned half way up, so this amp will be ok if you play it for a couple minutes but i would not recommend this amp to anyone.

Great product
I used this kit for one Alpine Type R 12 with an MRP-M500 amp and it works perfectly! I don't know if it's true 8 gauge, but I'm sure it's not more than 10 gauge. Been using it for a month and haven't had any problems.

Nice product for reduced space
This bass box doesn't handle the real low sound very well, but works great for the amount of space it takes up. Overall I am pleased with its performace.

Installed this in a 05 super crew ford. It fits perfect with no mods. I am running a sony xplode head unit with a 200 watt amp. The sound is very crisp with good definition and decent bass. I listen mostly rock and some rap . The lows are not to boomy, but they hit hard enough to feel.
If you are looking for earth rattling bass then buy something else, but if you want to add some kick without going over board this sub is a great buy and at the price you cant beat it . I would recomend it.

Good for a 10"
Its a 10 inch sub you cant expect to much but the highs were good all in all it was a good buy for underneath the seat of my crew cab ford 150

Nice punch for a compact
I love this sub. If you want to blow your car windows look for something else; if you want to add a powerful bass to your car sound and are limited in space, this is the one for you.
You cannot beat the performance for this price.

Great subwoofer for small places.
I installed this subwoofer in a Dodge Dakota quad cab. The sub fit behind the back folding seat. The sound is great perfect for the inside of the cabin. It's not a ground shaker but definitely improved the sound which was lacking major Bass in m vehicle. I matched it to a 600 Wat Sony Amp, all controlled by a Pioneer Head unit. I've had it for about 7 month now I love it.

Awesome bass in a small compact package
One of these behind my passenger seat in a full size f-250, normal cab. Fits perfectly and for it's compact size is quite respectable in terms of bass and music clarity.

perfect addition
i bought this sub about six months ago to add to a factory radio i used the sony 604 amp this thing fits perfect in my regular cab 08 Silverado. it has good bass nothing that will make your teeth rattle but just the right amount. the only con is that i didn't buy two of the subs but going to soon and will get it here cause the price and ease of purchase couldn't have been better!

Great Amp For me
I have used this amp for over three years, I had it pushing two Rockford Fosgate P2s, pushed them verrryy nice, did shut off like twice, After those 12s were stolen :/, I had it pushing a 12" Rockford P3, which is worked soo good, never shut off, or overheated. Now I have it, yes a 800 watt amp, pushing three 12" kicker comps. Pushed very well. It does get hot, but hasn't cut off. Great amp for the price.

Alright, for a shallow..
I have two of these in my reg cab pickup. I've been running them for about 6 months, and i pound the suckas. they don't hit as hard or give as good lows as normal subs because they are shallows.. but they're pretty loud for a small space. You definitely wont get that booming bass you really want. These aren't the best subs, the excursion isn't impressive, and they don't take as much power as they say, but if you pack the enclosure they are decent, durable subs if you're looking for a nice cheap compact sub and enclosure.

Great deal!
I purchased this sub for my pickup and it fits under the jump seats with 1/2 inch to spare.
I wanted to get a little more bass out of my system and take some of the load off of the 6x8's in the doors.
I have an Alpine head unit along with an Alpine MRP-M500 mono amplifier driving this sub and it has been giving me great performance for almost two years now.
It is not a competition grade sub but it fits my needs perfectly and the price was very inexpensive for the performance and ease of use. I would buy this again.

Wow...what a wiring kit!
Included in a bundle, you'd expect it to be crap quality. Everything, from the fuse to the wires to the rca's, very nicely done. No complaints at all. Provides clean power to the amp without issue!

Good rugged little 10 with enough punch
Bought this slim 10 with low expectations and it really surprised me!! It kicks good in my big 4 door diesel truck and doesn't take up much room. I also pile stuff on top of it all the time and with the metal guards in place it doesn't hurt it at all. Had it for about 8 months now still working like new. If it ever does blow or crap out I'd just buy it again at $80 can't beat it. I run stock gm radio, 500 w alpine amp, Sony slim 10

Good for the price
This is a good sub for the price. Personally i don't think it hits as hard as a ported sub box but for $70 its great! Make sure to hook it up to a 600 watt rms amp because i made the mistake of buying a 1200 watt amp and i blew it. Sonic has great service and their warranty program covered it and they sent me a new one!

Great Sub!!
Well first off i know A LOT of people hate on sony subs but this thing hits HARD. Just make Sure you give it plenty of power. I give it 400-600 rms with peak wattage at 800. This thing fits pretty well inside my ranger single cab and is worth every penny if u want good bass. Also, fill the box with polyfill it makes a difference. Thanks sonic

Amazing
I have had this sub for over a week now and it hits hard. If you are looking for good sound while in the car/ truck get this sub. You aren't going to be able to hear it from a block a way but while in it my ears ring sometimes. great value if you match it with a sony amp and head unit. it has good lows and alright highs.
6 found this helpful
Decent for what it isss
I got this for a friends S10 regular cab truck for behind the seat. Its powered by a monoblock amp pushing 250 rms. It handles the power fairly well. however, since it is a shallow-mount sub it doesn't hit like any normal sub. it does put a decent amount of lows but nothing that will rattle the mirrors.
5 found this helpful
Good but not great
I switched to this 10" from two 12" subs simply because they took up too much trunk space. It sounds nice when I crank it, but it simply just doesn't hit like two 12's can.

Good amp for money
This was my first amplifier back in December. I have used it in many applications, from a Dual SBP10 that it killed, to two Alpine S-10's in various enclosures, and now high-passed and running my cabin speakers on an 8-ohm load. This amp is a good starter amp; not very good for loud bass though. It takes a ton of abuse though. I have never had it cut off or anything, even when it got hot enough to burn my hand (running slightly dirty signal at 2 ohms per channel back in my clueless days.) I would recommend this amp to anyone looking for a cheap amp for a small sub, or to power your cabin speakers.
(For the record, this amp is now pushing one MB Quart EKA-113 and one Alpine SPS-690A per channel, wired to an 8-ohm load. My guesstimate of current RMS power is 70wX2, giving each speaker 35 watts. It sounds nice and clear, although the high-pass filter doesn't have a steep enough slope for my liking [the speakers still move like mad on the low notes] but no problems thus far.)

nice sub
got this sub for Christmas for my 2dr pickup. when i first hooked it up, i was somewhat disappointing, but after STUFFING the box full of fiber-fill, this things bumps. i'm running it with about 200w rms from an old lightning audio amp with the crossover and bass boost set at 45hz, and its perfect. i recommend this sub to anyone, just get some fiber fill for it. you wont regret it.

Amazing
This amp has a lot of power to be Sony. i have it bridged, with a MMATS p3.0 in a bandpass box and my system bangs. It hits hard and deep, strongly recommended when looking for an amp for a low price.

Budget Price, Descent Bass and a great space Saver!
I bought this amp from Sonicelectornix. Their service was excellent with quick delivery to Dubai. This is not the best sub...but for its price and size is excellent fit for a small sports Coupe. Make sure to power it up with a min 800W mono amp.

Decent entry level
For an entry level setup, not a bad wiring set. I did have a few problems with the solderless terminals provided and ended up using some I purchased separately and just recently one of the RCA ends has come apart requiring some fine work to remove the bit from the amplifier.

Not enough
Why is it that amp wiring kits never come with enough ground wire? Besides that I would not recommend this kit. The wire is good quality but if your like me and want a stable supply of power to your amp then I would get a thicker gauge wire. This came with a package deal I bought and the amp is only 400 watt. This is not enough to keep up with the power requirements of the amp. I've done the big 3 upgrade and cleaned up all my connections between the alt, battery and amplifier and am running a 100 amp alternator and still have issues with my amp. The only thing I have not done yet is replaced the amp power cable with a 4 gauge and I am positive that this will correct the power consumption issue.

Pretty Legit
This was my first sub from sony, and overall I am impressed. It hits really cleanly but doesnt hit the lows as well as it does the highs.
Only problem, eventually wasn't loud enough.......
But overall very clean sound, and looks nice too. I would have definitely bought a second one had I not come across some 12"s

Great sound, but problems.
Great sound and very nice small box. Absolutely love it but it has one slight problem. It seams when it gets very cold out the sub sometimes does not work. to get it working you have to tap on the cone and it works for a while. Not sure whats wrong but a little disappointed.

Awesome setup.
For a 10, it hits great and very clean. The biggest reason I purchased this unit was because it fits securely and perfectly under the bench seat in my 98 F150 Extended cab. Very happy with it. Would definitely recommend it.

xlb10s
Good value for money and if you have limited space.
I wish they used the same die cast woofer available when you purchase it out of the box.....instead of the somewhat flimsey steel stamped design in these. you drop the cabinet it bends under the magnet weight and you have to re-allign the magnet. This happened in shipping of my previous one of these. if it would have been die-cast it wouldn't have happened. so that is why i gave a less rating on durability.

For people who just want a little bass
This enclosure is nice and small, but it is not for people who like a lot of bass. Its not as powerful as Sony said it was. It doesnt hit all of the lows. if you want to add a little bass to your truck or car, you should get it. but if you want to feel or hear bass I don't recommend it. The speaker should say 330 on the front don't know why it say 1200. its no where close 2 handle that much power

Great bass! was exactly what I was looking for and more!
I have this subwoofer inside my 1986 RX7 and its a small car. This is hooked up to a very wimpy amp that has only 200watts max and 50RMS but I love it. It produces nice clear bass that pumps pretty darn good. Im comparing this to a vented kicker 10in and it doesnt Punch as hard but it definitely has great quality. I should be able to get better results with a better amp. Its gets loud, not teeth clattering, but loud enough to slightly shake my rear view mirror on about half gain, half volume, and flat EQ. Hope this helps I'm planing on getting another real soon and hooking it up to a far stronger amp.

Awesome Subs
These subs are awesome! They're very easy to build a box for because they're so slim, and they pound just as hard or harder than my friend's JL 13" 1000w, and I'm only running 1100w! Great value, great sound!

Not true 8awg
If you only have to power a 200 watt amp or so then its okay but if you have a 500 watt amp i would not recommend this kit... True power ratings not your "peak" ratings either.

Great package
An all inclusive package of what you need to install a subwoofer/amplifier system to your car/ truck.
Main power cord was almost not long enough for my car. I ran the cables from the driver's side in the engine bay, then through the firewall on the passenger side back through the side floor panels to back behind my seats on the drivers side. (I couldn't run the cable through the driver's side firewall due to the fact that I didn't want to drill it to run the cable).
I recommend you find the path you are going to run the cables and make sure it's going to be long enough before you buy your cables.

Great deal
Comes with just about everything you need. BUT, if you are running a 4-channel amp to 4 seperate speakers you will most likely need more speaker wire. Other than that its good and gets the job done with no overheating wires or anything.

Decent kit
I am not sure if this is a true 8 gauge kit, but it is not far off. I upgraded to a beefier kit, but this came with lots of speaker and power/ground wire and decent connectors. For the price it is a good kit,and will get you bumping but if you have a lot of money invested in a nice setup just stick with the more expensive wiring.

this is all you need to get your bumps going

Cheap materials
I got this with a sub amp package from sonic and i didnt really think much about the wiring kit. its just wires right? NO. the installer refused to use these wires because they were so cheap. theres not plastic surrounding the copper than copper wire itself. its dangerous and could catch your car on fire if used. DO NOT BUY.

eh
shallow mount preloaded boxes just dont cut it for me. installed 2 in a single cab pickup and within a week swapped them out for a box with more volume. these boxes are built well and are punchy, but as far as a deep bass, forget it

Exactly what I was looking for
I just purchased a new ford fusion and after having 2 12" Fosgates in all my past cars I was really missing the bass, but did not want to sacrifice all the room. I found this package and although I was weary of the 8 gauge wire and shallow mount sub, I decided for 160 it was worth the gamble. I just installed this package and it was exactly what i was looking for. Your not going to hear me coming, but it fills the car with clean bass that the stock system really lacked. I would definitely recommend this sub if you just want a little more bass to your stock stereo.
