Decent but I was expecting more.

In the end I went back to my SD-2 10.

This woofer is in my dad's truck. He just wants some low end and doesn't really care about performance.

Purchased and installed in my still. Have a brx1200 hyfonics running them. These things are seriously loud, and can handle all of 600 watts. Did have to trim a 10' subwoofer enclosure so they would fit

These things are just insane. I have a 1500 watt mono block hifonics zeus amp on these things pushing around 750 watts a piece and the take it like a champ! The best sounding subs i have owned and I've owned quite a few. They are always being mistaken for 12s and a few times a 15. If you have these and have them in the right box you'll know how they could be mistaken for a 15. They have amazing sound and hit a HUGE range of frequencies. I was wanting to order Orion 10s but they were out for a month minimum so the sales guy told me i couldn't go wrong with these and he was right! Thanks sonicelectronix for the great support on this. I recommend these to everyone wanting to go with 10s. These are an amazing quality and very very impressive sounding sub.

Much Like Yea!

I just finished the install today and this is probably my favorite sounding install yet. I made a ~1cu/ft box tuned to 35hz with MB Quart 1000/1 Reference series. It is suppose to be pushing 700 watts RMS at 2ohms. This was installed in the back of a Wrangler Unlimited and the bass is very clean and tight. It can pop with house/electro and it can roll with dubstep. From the front of the JK, it does not rattle my chest like the RE SEX12V2D4 but the sound it soooo good. I can't wait for it to break in. For the price Sonic is offering right now, I wish I would of got two. GET TWO!
PS: I actually prefer this sub package to my 12" in a 1.5cu/ft box tuned to 32hz because of the sound quality and tight bass. If you want chest rattling bass, get the 12" variation or the 15" variation. Also, I was putting double the recommended voltage, 68.4 volts during 50hz sine wave test, to my previous RE SEX12V2-D4 for 5 months before the leads melted. I'm sure that the subs are quality built and would not break if gain, wattage, and crossover as set accordingly.

Works well

I originally had the SEX version one. But blew it after about a year and a half. So I bought this one to handle a little bit of extra power. So far fairly satisfied with it. I have any ported box in the cab of an extended Ford Ranger. I am pushing about 800 W to it

Good buy

I bought this sub thinking it would be the same setup as my last one, sadly I had miss read the ohms, it's a 4 ohms and when I wired it, it was set too 2 ohms. My last setup was wired to 1 ohm. This sub and a good amp makes the difference not noticeable. I would recommend getting 2 of these and wire them to one ohm with 12 gage wire with a high wattage amp, let me tell you this thing destroys things when I turn it up. I recommend this product.

The box is well made, but it's to basic. It's easy to put in the speakers. I personally like custom boxes so this didn't work out. It's real good if you are on a strict budget.

Not bad....but small

I think I need either more space or a ported box, otherwise, well constructed, comes ready to use, extremely cheap $$$.
