This is a great amp power kit! I've bought three of them for different cars that I have owned. The cables are excellent quality and easy to route.

Nice install kit!
This is a quality kit with true 8 AWG wire. Has a high strand count and very flexible. The only con i have with the kit is they give you a ring terminal and spade for the ground wire but only a single ring terminal for the power wire but no spade to connect to your amp. I don't understand that but it's not a big deal. I would buy this again.

Great kit for the money
This was the least expensive kit I could find to install my sub. It worked fine and had all the bits and pieces needed. Didn't really want blue wire but I wire-loomed everything anyway so it doesn't show up. Recommended!

Hidden Gem!
The Infinity Kappa 120.9w is certainly a hidden gem! I almost didn't give it a shot because of the gold look (I prefer plain black - or something not flashy), but I'm glad I gave this subwoofer a chance!
I have it powered by a Soundstream RUB1.1000D monoblock amplifier, at 4 ohms. The amp can put out 800 wrms at 2 ohms. The amp is rated for 600 wrms output at 4 ohms.
My opinion is that Infinity has greatly underrated power handling capability on this subwoofer. 500-600 wrms I'm putting to it has not even pushed it to it's limits yet.
The woven fiber cone is extremely stiff (less chance of cone flex and high volume distortion) yet very light weight (the motor on this thing with 500+ watts to it moves the cone effortlessly and with great control.
I've not been able to get the thing to distort even at max volume, unless the amp is going into clipping from improper gain setting. With the gain matched perfectly so I get max power with no clipping, the subwoofer takes it all and reproduces sub bass brilliantly.
Transient response is excellent. Very fast bass guitar, electronic bass, and double kick drums are all reproduced faithfully and clearly. Versus the previous subwoofer I had in the car, I can hear MUCH more sub bass detail in music - that I didn't even know was there, as the other sub muddied it up.
It's transient response and fairly flat frequency response in a sealed enclosure also help it blend very well with the front stage. With very little tuning I was able to get it blended perfectly so it doesn't sound like a bassist is dancing his way from my trunk to dash and back, or like there is a bass explosion going off in the trunk, completely separate from all the other parts of the song.
Though this subwoofer is very accurate and sounds great with no audible distortion, it still gets LOUD for 1 12" in a sealed enclosure.
In fact, it causes quite a bit of panel flex on the vehicle (Lexus, mind you - very tightly and well built), and gets to the point where it's almost too loud (and I used to be a bass head - now having switched more towards sound quality builds) - for my wife it is certainly way too loud if I crank it up, lol - the look (er, grimace) on her face...priceless.
If Infinity keeps building subs like these, and the word keeps getting out, they should do quite well in sales. These are hands down the BEST SUBS FOR THE MONEY I've ever owned. I've paid more for ground pounders with crazy power handling and excursion limits, and paid less for budget subs. For the price, I definitely give these best overall subwoofer - sound great for sound quality builds, but still capable of getting quite loud and shaking everything.
The construction quality of this woofer tell me it will last - they did not use cheap parts on this. The speaker wires are easy to connect (no soldering) with hex screws (allen wrench supplied by Infinity in package).
The ohm switch is easy to use - the number not covered by plastic, and thus brighter, is the one you have selected. Flick the switch easily from 2 ohm to 4 ohm. This is a fantastic feature I hope more woofer manufacturers go with in the future!

Bang for the buck!
This is by no means Kicker quality... But it is also by no means Kicker price. You get what you pay for. For a CHEAP entry level system, this is sufficient. Wouldn't push it all that hard though.

Awesome install kit
I'm running four 8" subs off of two 175watt RMS amps, and the cables don't even get hot, even at very high levels.
1.5 years after install, they are holding up just fine.
Comes with good quality gold plated connectors that don't fall off.
If you are resourceful, this has enough cables do do an install on two cars.
What more could I ask for?

Good quality, could've been longer.
Very good quality cable with high quality insulation. The hardware that came with it was of high quality too... better than most generic electronic connections.
I wish the power cable was a bit longer, though... ended up using it and the ground cable just for the positive line. Finding more wire isn't hard, but it was an inconvenience.

Great Sub - SQL?!!
I bought this sub after reading many positive reviews about how it was a very nice SQ sub, so sound quality is what I was expecting. What I wasn't expecting was for it to be as loud as it is. This sub will go low and loud, and sound great doing it. The bass is tight and accurate at all frequencies. I have it in a 1 cu ft sealed enclosure, running about 400 watts RMS @ 4 ohms. It really turned out to be a better sub than I was expecting. I'm not sure there is a nicer sub at this price point (about $140). Amazing, really. (Looks great, too!)

cheapish
The ground and power wires are coated with thin plastic instead of the red or blue braided heavier coating. If you get a tiny slit or cut in them you will lose the amp for awhile and have to get another $30 install kit so be careful with those two wires.

Overall this kit was very nice and of good quality. It does include connectors, grommets, 1 single spade connector, 1 butt connector etc. However those little accessories are very low quality and I would suggest buying your own from the local hardware store.
However, the wires and fuse themselves were very good quality and I would buy again.

Awesome.
I bought this trying to upgrade my old system. I wanted better sound, not more sound. The bass, the kicks, low end sounds sound like what they are, not just boomy bass. Its not as loud as my old subs but I went sealed this time instead of ported. Hits hard on high and low bass. Plus, looks freaking awesome. May not be as loud but it is so clear. Dont get me wrong, its still loud..... Btw, be careful with the Ohm selector switch, which is cool btw, I had it on 2 ohms and my amp was pushing 850 watts to it for weeks. It took it like a champ though. I WILL be getting one more eventually.....

Just ordered the exact same product in 8 gauge from a different site. when it arrive I compared it to othe pieces of 8 gauge wire I had and appeared to be about half as much metal/wire as the other pieces I had. Im not sure if this is low quality or not I havnt hooked it up to any amp yet but it just seems more like 10 gauge wire than 8 gauge wire

Very nice subwoofer
I have this subwoofer in a 1 cu ft box and it is receiving 270 watts @ 4 ohms by a Precision Power 900.5 amp. The bass is very tight and deep and it is a noticeable improvement over the Diamond D3 that it replaced. I primarily listen to hard rock/heavy metal so I wanted a subwoofer that was punchy, clean and could consistently hit the low notes to round out the sound. This subwoofer could absolutely handle more power than I am giving it, which is nice to know if I ever decide to upgrade my amp. Cosmetically this is one of the best looking subwoofers I have ever seen and the gold, "woven" finish makes it look classy and expensive. I would highly recommend this subwoofer.

I've had many subwoofers in the past cvr's w6 re audio american bass sony(lol) etc....i've never had one that i enjoyed the sound so much. It was exactly what i wanted all along. Not crazy loud and not to quiet to notice. Although for 1 12 it gets LOUD but still sounds good. I have it in a 1 cu ft sealed box. At first i had my jbl gto501ez giving it 350 rms while it was breaking in but i was wanting a bit more out of it. so i turned it to 2 ohm. which is super easy. I love that about it. No need for lots of wires :P with 500 its like a all new woofer:D super loud and even better sounding. I believe this sub can handle more then its rated for. It was barely moving on 350 and i know gto501ez is underrated. Awesome value. Awesome sq. Super spl:) not to much though!

Perfect:D
I bought 1 of these from here a few months ago. First impression was the sound is amazing. I was very surprised by how accurate it was playing yet still so loud in a 1 cu ft sealed enclosure. I've had lots of subwoofers cvrs w6s american bass. Ive had 10s 15s 12s. I wanted this subwoofer to go with a new brand setup i decided to do. Which was jbl gto 6.5s and 6x9s with the gto501 and the gto504 amps. IMO the sound is fantastic the speakers are loud yet sound good doing it as well as the subwoofer. I can honestly say all the products are amazing and i would recommend any of them. I didnt buy all the things from here but i found the 501 and 504 at about $110 each. When i first bought the subwoofer before hooking it up i contacted infinity and asked if the subwoofer could handle the 500 rms off the jbl amp and they confirmed it would work just fine and wouldnt mess up the warranty from over powering if it were to break. The only reason i did that is i had a 15 in a 3.0 cu ft enclosure it was very loud, but wasnt what i wanted. I thought the 12 wouldnt give enough output for my liking. However after hearing it for the first time ive been so amazed with the output that i havent changed it from the 350 rms at 4 ohms to 500 at 2 ohms. It would probably amaze me more but i dont even need it. Plenty of output. Its the best subwoofer ive ever owned. It looks really nice. Heavy magnet and interesting with the 2 to 4 ohm switch. I love it. Since the first time hearing it ive noticed it breaking in getting louder an lower so i cant stop listening to it. If im in my car im playing it loud an loving every minute on any genre of music.

I love this 12! Recently, I've owned JL, Alpine, Pioneer but this is my favorite in a sealed 1 cu. ft. box. The sound of the sub blends perfectly with my 6.5 components up front and my 6.5 coaxials in the back. I'm finally just enjoying the sound and music and not constantly trying to eq the heck out of the sub to get it to sound right. I don't think you will be disappointed with this sub, excellent build quality, excellent sq and looks beautiful...I'd definitely recommend.

Nice sound quality
I'm 44 years old and this is my first sub...
This being said, I have always been a music enthusiast, and I'm very hard to please, I need a good sound quality system, and this sub was exactly what I was looking for!
I changed everything in my car, radio, front and back speakers, and put a nice amplifier to go with it, the only thing missing was bass...
After going over mountains or reviews, I finally decided to go with Infinity, I bought one of these, that I put in a sealed box, WOW this sub makes my car shake to the core!
Incredible bass in my car, but only in the car, I did not want the bass to overwhelm my vocal, and this sub blends perfectly with the front stage,
I threw everything at it, Pop, Rock, Metal, Techno Bass, even Classical!
It reproduces every note to perfection, bass sound like bass, drums sounds like drums.
I tried the sub a both impedance's, first a 4Ω, then at 2Ω, my amplifier sends 300w at 4Ω and 500w at 2Ω, worked perfectly at 2Ω but was a little to much for my taste so I put it back at 4Ω.
all in all this is a very nice peace of technology, and the price is respectable compared to other SQ subs out there, and I highly recommend this product.
If you are a Hip Hop fan, one will not be enough for you, two 10" or two 12" will shed the rust from your car in no time flat...

I've got this in a sealed box and bridged to a Clarion giving it only 180w plus an EQ boost and it will shake the eyeballs out of your sockets. Integrates well with Polk component 6.5s. I'm thinking of building a HT sub using it as the driver.

120.9W is one of the cleanest sounding subs I have ever heard, and literally beats speakers that cost double. I have it powered with an alpine Mrx v70 at 2 ohm. Just as good as JL w3v3's... and better for a smaller box
I have 2 of these remarkable subs in my Camaro. I have them set to 4 ohms, and I'm driving each sub with one JL Audio 500/1v2 amplifier... They handle the power very well, I have each JL amp set two-thirds of the way up. The sound quality is brilliant, and the bass is very deep sounding, even for the 1 cubic foot per side enclosure they are in. These sound just as good (and look way better) as the JL w3v3's- I've owned some before. The switchable impedance makes these subs very flexible... I'll probably own mine till I'm 40 yrs old! The only thing to pay attention to is their relatively large cut-out diameter... They won't fit into the same opening size as the Reference 12"s will (too big across)... So make sure your enclosure can accomodate these big boys. They are solid and weigh almost as much as Alpine Type R's, while being more effecient and clearer sounding. 5 stars on these!

Excellent Sub
I wanted to add some low frequencies to my X5 which did not seem to play below 100 hz. After a lot of research, I selected this sub and hooked it up to a JBL GTO3501 mono amplifier. Could not be happier. I wasn't looking for kick *ss bass but rather fill the cabin with low bass that I can feel. This setup rocks. It will kick if you want it too but what I like best is the flexibility it has to sound excellent with all kind of music. It took some time to properly tune the amp and well worth it.

Amazing sub for the price
I originally had an Infinity 1262w reference sub and the voice coil separated one day. Rather than trying to get a refund or warranty work I decided to get an upgrade and go with the Kappa. I now wish I had gone with the Kappa in the beginning! The sound is amazing. My box is sealed for clean tight bass and this sub delivers. I don't care for people to hear me coming a mile away but this sub is incredibly loud inside my car. To the point that people who listen to it generally have to plug their ears.
I am only putting about 300w into it but it can shake my entire car and still play cleanly without any boominess or muddy distorted sound. I don't always listen to music like rap or hip-hop, so when listening to classical music or country the bass is supremely clear and not overpowering. I couldn't ask for a better sub for the money!

Great but not extraordinarily so
This sub is excellent. Really fast shipping and customer service from sonic as well. To set the scene this sub was put in a boat. No need to rattle windows down the street. Sealed box roughly 1cf and an infinity kappa one 1600 watt mono block amp. Even at 2ohm which should equal close to 800 watts on this amp it was crisp clean and was louder than anticipated. Impedance switch works flawlessly. My only thing is that it seems like it doesn't go down and grab really low frequencies as well as other subs I've heard. Maybe it needs to be broken in but for now it is still pleasantly crisp and clear and I will definitely make a statement in party cove

For as long as I've had my car I have never had a sub I was truly happy with, until I got the 120.9W. For the price, I just don't think it can be beat. Sounds great listening to EDM or rock music. It is responsive and tight. It's genuinely a pleasure listening to it.
In my system it is powered with a Kenwood X500-1 with the crossover point around 90-100hz.

is that 212s?
Hi,
I ordered the infinity Kappa 12.9w. A few weeks ago. I have it hooked on an Alpine mrp-m500. In a sound ordnance box,I believe a 1.6 or 1.8 vented inclosure. Its set a 80 Hertz at normal voltage and 6 db tuned right with the bass on my Alpine hde-148bt head unit. Beautiful combination. People ask me if its 2 12s. On the outside its not much but set inside and wow. It pounds. I also have a Alpine mrp-f300 powering infinity Kappa comps and 6x8 coxials. It gets loud!. This comment is after I already had a infinity Kappa 12.9w so yes I now have 2 12 inch subs. 1 in each sub enclosure. The enclosures are the same. Same amp and wow. I makes my teeth clatter. My wire is 0 gauge nvx. Great wire. I'm going to be getting the infinity Kappa one amp and Kappa four soon to boost up the power. But so far great. Also thank you sonic electronix for great prices!!!

Audiophile Bass
I used a pair of the Infinity Kappa 120.9W's in a home, high-end audio system. I put them in 3 Cu. Ft. sealed boxes and placed one in each corner of the audio room. The Apogee Divas are closer to the listening chair, so the sub-woofers are behind them. The bass is awesome. I have heard many high-end subs and these are as good or better than some of the expensive high-end subs. With a db or two of boost at the low end, these subs go down nicely to 20 Hz.

smart subs for audiophile taste
I have 2 of these Kappas, each being driven with a JL Audio 500/1v2 high-damping amplifier. I have the impedance switch set to 4 ohms on each sub for better excursion control. Let me tell you this, these Kappas reproduce every range of bass like a pro... very detailed yet extremely hard hitting. I have them in a sealed, 1 cubic foot per-sub enclosure, and they handle every bit of the amps' power (gains set at two-thirds) using common sense with the volume control/ bass knob. If you want remarkably precise sound that can still rumble the car very well with enough power, these Kappa's will do the job for sure. The impedance switch is very nice. Make sure your enclosure cut-out diameter is large enough... the mounting diameter of these subs are 11 & 1/8 inches across. You can always sand out your box holes with 40-grit sandpaper to make them fit, but it's some work (and vacuuming dust). If you want superb sound, go with these in a sealed box, they would probably work fine in a ported setup also, but the average person with little experience with boxes who likes tight, accurate bass should be very happy with these Kappas in a sealed enclosure.

Awesome clean bass
These are great, I listen to country and rock and dance and dubstep and it all sounds awesome. They might not fit in your enclosure, if not just sand the enclosure holes down a bit. They shipped quick from Sonic at a great price. I started with one and I wasnt quite satisfied even after upgrading my amp to 500 watt jlaudio jx500/1d so I bought another and now I have two 120.9 in individual enclosures sealed 1 cu ft each. They hit hard and sound awesome, im upgrading the amp again! I also want to mention that they are not quite as loud as you may expect or want and I say that because I was rocking a single 12" Rockford HE2 from the oldschool and I replaced it with one 120.9 and although I heard a drastic rise in sound quality, It was not as loud as the he2 and not loud enough for my liking. Two of them with the same amp is loud enough.

Couldn't be happier
I have owned this subwoofer for 4 months and I couldn't have been happier. I can't say anything negative about this subwoofer. There are many great thing about this subwoofer.
1. It works well in a compact box.
I have it in a 1.0cu ft sealed Sonic sub box stuffed with polyfill. Unlike many car subwoofers, this one is actually optimized to work in reasonably small sealed boxes (1 to 1.5 cu ft). WinISD recommends 1.2cu ft when running in 4ohm mode and 1.7 cu ft in 2 ohm mode. I run it in 2ohm mode, in effectively a 1.25cu ft box (due to polyfill), with resulting qtc of about 0.76, which is almost perfect.
2. Good sensitivity and power handling.
Don't worry if you have a modest amplifier. This subwoofer can still get very loud when running off a 250watt RMS power, much louder than is actually necessary IMO. However, should you want to play it a little too loud, I don't see why you could power it with 500w amplifier. Harman Kardon is being obviously modest with subs power rating. The xmax figure alone suggests that this Kappa should take up to around 500watts while still operating in its "SQ" range.
3. The cone looks great.
4. Low Inductance. Most subwoofers have such high inductance that their manufacturers do not even report it. This sub has Le of around 1.18mH which is considered much better than average. Low inductance is generally good for transient response and blending with the front stage.
4. Great sound.
Let's finally get to the core of the review. This subwoofer plays very cleanly and transparently. What I hear is a very clean, robust bass with a good texture. It's good for practically any music genre. Midbass output is higher and cleaner than that of an average car sub, which makes blending with the fronts much easier. Don't be afraid to bump your crossover frequency a little higher. (I have mine at 70Hz, up from 60Hz with previous sub). I could go on to continue building a list of things that this subwoofer does correctly, however, I think it would be much easier to say that it does nothing wrong IMO.
Based on what I have heard so far, most Harman Kardon (owner of JBL and Infinity) subwoofers are very good performers, and this subwoofer is a proof of it. I feel like I have been converted. Should I look for a higher end sub in future, once I become rich and famous, I will probably pick up a JBL WGTI from the same company.

Nice enough
In a Sonic Sub Box: 1H12-1.0 (Gray) with dynamat on the inside to get closer to the 1.0 cubic feet spec. Drilled through the connector plate and ran monster cable 10-gauage speaker wire straight from the amp to sub.
Powered by Infinity Kappa Five (300-600W on the mono sub channel),
running 4 gauge and the BOSS cap-20.
Can make 2002 Monte Carlo SS rearview mirror fall off. I think I had it set at 320LP with the db gain set somewhere between 60 and 80hz (I think). A 160LP might be what its on now, I was having a problem with my amp cuttin out, so I reduced the high frequencies from the deck too and the system can run at max volume now. The 400hz max range was kinda much to believe anyway (from speaker or amp@320).
Once I get the candy amp rack made I think I'll pick up Infinity's other sub amp and give this thing the power it wants.
Great deal for the price, lets you get the extended warranty option. Decent look and VERY durable, but won't look pretty after it shows you it is durable (the shimmer wears off).

awesome subs
I bought two of these subs six months ago and they have amazing sound quality! They are in a very small truck box underneath the back seat of a 2006 dodge ram. Total air space per sub is .65 cub inches. I was amazed at how low of a frequency they could reproduce in an enclosure that small! Throughout the whole frequency spectrum these subs are amazing no matter what kind of music you listen too. I am very pleased once again by the quality and design of Infinity. These subs are a great deal and you will enjoy the quality of their tonal reproduction from 28hz up!

I love the look of this sub especially because it looks like the rest of my kappa speakers. The bass is nice and tight in a 1.0 cu ft box but it doesn't seem to like rolling bass to much. Then again that might just be my application but all in all it is a great sub.

This combined with the 1300a amp is very impressive for the money. I've had a lot of different setups and I regret everything I've bought in the past. The kappa series is awesome looking. I have a 500 watt amp powering this baby in a custom enclosure in the trunk facing front through a pull down backseat. Lows sound great and bumps the car nicely with various music. The biggest reaction you get is from the looks of the thing. Other than that it's not rediculously loud so 1 of these won't rattle the neighborhood. Honestly though I don't see the need for another one.

So smooth and, rowdy when they want . Brake them in and enjoy. I'm running them with 500 watts each in a 1.50 per side sealed box with 1 lb of pollyfill . Goes low, gets loud. I love them !

Impressive on all fronts... Quality w/ a touch of BulletProof-isms..
I ordered this subwoofer from Sonic as a temporary 12" woofer for my sealed .9 fiberglass corner enclosure. It is being powered by my JL MHD 900/5. I also ordered all Infinity Kappa interior speakers as well (for the time being) until I get my Mosconi system set up.
With that being said.. I am extremely impressed with woofer. I always used IDQ v2's for my sub's, but after Image Dynamics got bought out I switched over to home drivers such as the Peerless XLS and Dayton Reference. The Kappa 120.9w is a very strong subwoofer. It sounds great and can get very low. I am feeding it only 250 watts / 4 ohm load and it hits- hard. The sound quality is very good.. with some tweaking I'm sure it can sound great- I'm not there just yet.
The cone itself is stiff and tight- no flexing at all- looks beautiful. Nothing on this woofer screams "cheap" .. anywhere. The overall construction of the woofer is hands down- beyond exceptional for a sub in this price category- its a steal at $132 shipped! The magnet is bulky with a nicely designed rubber boot- it just feels very solid & heavy. The cast aluminum basket is top notch- again - no skimping on the frame . One of the best features is the "Selectable Smart Impedence" switch... my MHD 900/4 can play it in either 2 or 4 ohms.. which is very nice. This one is a keeper.
I would not say that this is the best SQ woofer I have ever heard compared to a DIYMA Reference 12 or IDQ. It sounds pretty damn good and blends very well with the Kappa 63.9i & 693.9i speakers. This subwoofer definitely wants to be ported with at least 400 watts on tap to truly bring out the beast in it... I feel like I am hindering its potential with my corner fiberglass box... it definitely wants more. For a budget woofer you cannot go wrong wit this Kappa model.
Solid! Can get very loud. Powerful. I recommend!

Best sub for the money
I was having a problem blowing the infinity reference series. After blowing 3 different subs, I decided to spend more money and went with this sub. It has handled everything I've thrown at it so far and sounds so much boomier than the reference series.
As far as the smart feature, it's a tight feature but not one that you'll use often. I have mine set at 4 ohms.

Had 2 in 2 sealed 1.2cf boxes they sounded good about 4 months and they tore all the way around. The fiberglass cone has a rough edge where it is glued to the rubber surround and cut the rubber. I tried to glue them but never sounded right. It's too bad they just didn't smooth the edge of the cone before gluing. I exchanged them for power caustic mofo that don't sound as good but much stronger. Do not use stated power cut in 1/2 for vented box keep ur warranty and packaging.

Best Amp Kit Around
Great amp kit, this will be the third car i've bought this for including a hybrid and i've seen it go through two iterations and them changing the fuse holder so you know they're listening to complaints. My only complaint still is you have to buy a second RCA when you buy it. Never had any of the cables be cut by anything on accident or anything i did have an old alpine amp that would cause one of the braids to fray but that was the amps fault. Yeah its not your beefy zero gauge stuff but not everyone wants or most of all can afford that. Overall great cables, great discreet fuse holder, includes all you need at a great price.

Get what you pay for
This kit gets the job done, but don't expect anything beyond that. Not that I'm complaining, it was the cheapest kit I could find on this site. If you are running 500 watts or less this is the kit for you. If you got a couple mofo's you should get a better kit.

Good bang for the buck
Decent amp kit for the money. True 8ga copper, very flexible making it easy to route. I enjoy the type of fuse holder they give with the kit. The crimps are nice. The rcas are on par. I enjoy the attention to detail with the color combination. I'm using this kit to run a Soundstorm sv.200 amp, works just fine. Plenty of length on my good ole toyota pickup (94).

Not Bad
A great price for a basic amp wiring kit. Worked great for my relatively low powered amp. Would definitely recommend for a low powered system.

This kit is very nice. The wire size is decent and not a bunch of insulation. Everything in the kit is of good quality. I was happy with my purchase.

InstallBay 8 Gauge Amp Kit (AK8)
Wow-what a great value for included parts. Yes, the wire is CCA but for the cost, no complaints here. Everything needed for standard installs is here. The RCA seems to be of good quality and the mini ANL is also very nice.

The better option
The power and ground wires in this kit might be slightly less than 8 gauge. But still close enough that they will work fine for most amps that work wire 8 gauge input. Cables are long enough to reach the back of just about any car. And a kit is much more convenient and cheaper than having to buy all the pieces separately.

Great deal
The wires are of quality build and the insulation is flexible making them easy to install. Impressed for the price. The fuse holder is decent but isn’t water tight. I’d buy again if needed.

The InstallBay 8 gauge amp kit(AK8) was perfect for my needs, had everything to do a complete install of my amp. and with that flexabilty that the wires have - made very easy to route it where I needed it to go.

Install Bay 8 Ga. Wiring Kit
There is not much more to say other than- I absolutely love it!!!! The kit is complete with everything I needed, and is so affordable I bought one just to have on hand. I have paid much more for similar kits and don't see a difference. I was also happy to have all the terminals included, wire ties, and a grommet for firewall penetrations. They thought of everything! Thank you Sonic and thank you Install Bay!!!

Amazing all-around Sub
Sub hits almost all bass-frequencies well and has a smooth overall response in a sealed box. It's one of the best sounding and hardest hitting subs you can get for under $200 in my opinion. I did have to sand down my box slightly as the sub was about a half-an-inch bigger than the pre-cut.

Better than described!
This driver looks and feel stronger and more durable than any online image can project. Im currently using it in a bandpass box with a 600 watts RMS AMP. So far no problem, it has handled the power very well. The basket and the cone are very strong, a very good quality built product. The OHM switch is a briliant invention, not sure why no one came up with that before. There may be a lot of more powerfull drivers out there but not many look as good as this one. I almost cry when my Cerwin Vega V-Max 12 died but this one made up and more for it.

Underestimated
Great sub and look with choosing 2 or 4 ohm. On the box it says make RMS is 350. However that is not the case. I have been running it for 5 months now and been pushing 800 RMS. Not blown yet and hits hard. Everything Infinity makes is high quality amps, speakers, and subs.

Awesome bass
Looks great! Rock solid in a sealed box pushing 600 watts into 2 ohms. Switchable impedance is a very nice feature. Bass gets richer as the speaker breaks in. Sounds better than my Rockford 12. Excellent price for the quality!

I like it
This is the first non-factory sub I've listened to for an extended period. My basis for comparison is pretty limited so more experienced car audio enthusiast (and everyone else) should take my thoughts with a grain of salt.
That being said, I love the sub. Added a whole new level to my music. I have it set up in a sealed box, hooked up to a JBL mono pushing out 500w RMS at 2 ohms. With the setup, it's capable of putting out waay more bass than I need or enjoy, but it's nice to know that it can rattle the car if I feel so inclined.
Set to an appropriate level (for my taste), the sound is clean and punchy. You feel the bass, but it's not overwhelming unless you want to have some fun and turn it up to neighbor annoying levels.
Setup was a breeze. There's a handy switch to change it from 4 ohm to 2 ohm so there's no need to fancy wiring and there are plenty of good amps out there to power it. It comes with some foam to get a good seal with the box as well as an allen wrench for tightening the speaker cable posts.
Of course it did highlight how awful my stock mids and tweeters are so those "had" to be replaced sooner than I originally planned. First world problems.

Nice sub
I bought 2 of these. Currently only running one in a sealed box on a 300 watts mtx thunder8302 amp, tuned with smd dd1 track 5. It is pretty damn loud and sounds great. Can't wait to get a more powerful amp and hook up the 2nd one and put them in a ported box.
The only things I didn't like is that the leads rent stiched in the spider they just float. And the color of the cone.

Simply amazing
I have this with a ported box in my BMW 5 series and it sounds amazing! Huge upgrade from the stock alpine system it had. I run it with a pioneer 360rms amp and kicker speakers. I would definitely recommend this!

Excellent Subs
I was replacing my 12inch JL subs that deteriorated around the rubber baffling from time and wear. Problem was that I also had an older JL amp that is no longer in production. My audio installer is no longer in business and I needed something simple to install. My JL subs were wired between (2) different set of posts that were on both sides of the subs. Confusing. These Infinity subs took the guess work out of the connections. They have a switch that allows you to switch the sub between 2 or 4 ohms. After contacting a service tech about the compatibility between the subs and amp and which ohm to set the subs to, I was off and running. They were easy to connect and sound excellent from day one. No regrets. Get these subs. The only thing that I wish these subs had was a grill cover. They are beautiful speakers but as mine are facing up out of my box, I'd hate for anything to accidentally fall into them.

I had 12 in JBL Gt series subs before these, and they just absolutely blow them out of the water

I love Infinity speakers.
I would definitely recommend this speaker due to it is extremely well made and has a very tight bass sound to it. I have it in a 1.25 sealed box that I also got from Sonic and I could not be happier. The speaker looks and sounds awesome. I am very pleased with this purchase.

sickest subs for the price
I'm literally trying to find a way to incorporate more of these into my setup and other cars. They are easily the best subs I have purchased.

good product
I recently purchased this sub and a sealed box. I'm currently in the break in phase with it. I will say I am impressed so far as it does pick up the low bass very well. I will update further when I am done with the break in.

TRULY OVERRATED
Had these subs in my truck 2 weeks and they were not what I read about, didn't even have the chance to really crank them up before they slowly stopped working ,they were a problem from the get go and am sending them back for a refund. Infinity is truly overrated and they will never be in a class like KICKER SUBS ,I had to learn the hard way stick to Kickers if you want the best

Great Value
For a few more bucks then just the sub you get an amp and wire kit. Great bass for the money. I'm running this setup in a single baffled box in my 2010 Focus and it hits hard enough to break my rear view mirror. Just add a good box and you'll be rocking out for under $300.
