Used this package on my Mazda 6 i Sport and it covered the length of the car fine. Had scrap to splice off onto multiple amps.

One of the BEST sounding subs

I've always been about car audio,i've owned several different brands of subwoofers from Orion to Rockford Fosgate (some of the best out there). Well i decided to buy myself one of these subs out of curiosity. As soon as i got it i looked at the spec sheet from Pioneer. I went with the specs and built a ported box at 1.1 cubic space, and man let me tell ya this one 10 in.sub at 2 ohms sounds better than my two Distinct Audio 12's in a sealed a box. It handles my 5001bd from Rockford Fosgate very well at 65hz. Now im planning to order me another so i can run them at 1 ohm (of course i will need a different amp) for this operation. Just want to say i highly recommend this sub for those who are looking for a good sounding sub that really pounds. Price isn't bad at all.!!!!

Great Value

I shopped around but couldn't beat the deal I got from Sonic Electronix on this Raptor cable set for connecting my subwoofer.

Great sub

Bought two of these for an under the seat pre-fab box in my 08 F150 Super Crew 6 months ago. Running them with a CRUNCH P-1 5000.5 & a small amount of fiberfill in the box, from day one they've sounded suprisingly good. Good value for the $.

Well worth the money!

For the price you pay on this site for this sub you're getting a great deal. I had this sub in a sealed box with internal volume of 1.25 cb ft and powered by a mono Pioneer GM 400w RMS @ 2 ohms amp. The thing pounds hard for a single 10 at only 350w RMS. It sounds great as well. One thing I'd recommend though is to give it a good weeks break in period before pounding it too hard, this sub doesn't handle power so well at first, until it breaks in it seems to do a lot better. I blew my first one in 5 days due to this problem. lol. So be careful. But buy one!

Great product

I used this kit for one Alpine Type R 12 with an MRP-M500 amp and it works perfectly! I don't know if it's true 8 gauge, but I'm sure it's not more than 10 gauge. Been using it for a month and haven't had any problems.

For the price and ease of the speakers, they are well worth the purchase, they were sent to us faster then garunteed, easy to set up and sound great, they pound!! I am happy with them, ;)

Pounds on the lows!

I am very glad to have this subwoofer for both purposes of having in the car and in the house. It shows a great amount of promise for lasting and hitting great enough lows that you can (if you have good hearing) hear around 10Hz. Makes you sick to your stomach if you constantly have the bass for this sub at a high enough level around 300w RMS. I would recommend this product because of the enormous power and sound this produces without spending money over $100. Awesome job for Pioneer.

Great Value, Great Sound

i bought this sub simply because it was a good price and used a small size box, this was needed because i drive a two seater with a targa top, so there is not a ton of space available, especially with the roof in the trunk, i had to build my own box to fit, but this sub sounds great even if space is not a problem for you. i since have upgraded to the ts-w2502d2 champion series pro, because i like this product line and wanted more power, i really could not tell the difference when i used the same box and same amount of amp power, so if you're not gonna be running more than 1200w max then i suggest buying this sub instead of the one i have.

good sounding sub

i got 2 10,s in my 02 mustang gt in a custom made sealed box for the money these subs sound nice real clean low bass i would recommend these for someone who wants good bass and don't have a lot of money

Great Product!

This sub is the perfect size for someone who wants a little bass to their sound. It actually hits pretty hard for s 10". I definitely got s great deal on this item.

Awesome Box for Price!!

This box is awesome for the price. Sealed properly and has good amount of weight. Only thing I would change is put better audio connections.

Wow...what a wiring kit!

Included in a bundle, you'd expect it to be crap quality. Everything, from the fuse to the wires to the rca's, very nicely done. No complaints at all. Provides clean power to the amp without issue!

Absolute SS-10

I bought this box for my Infinity KAPPA 10" DVC sub. I got it right away the price was awesome and the best part is the sub sounds awesome in it. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Quality and affordable

This Subwoofer has broken in well and is living up to all my expectations in a smaller enclosure. In the smaller sealed enclosure, it did need more power than the low end stats stated. But with more power has done well.

I got one of these subwoofers last year and they hit pretty hard. I was surprised they are even $60!! i think i will just buy 3 more of these just to get the great deal!

Nice Sub for the Money

I have one of these Pioneer subs running off an Eclipse mono amp that's hooked up to the factory Bose system in my Acura Legend, and it supplies just enough clean bass to complement my system.

I have this kit for my 2 w1's it crimps easy easy strip clean crisp sound no distortion or interference at all love raptor kits!

Decent entry level

For an entry level setup, not a bad wiring set. I did have a few problems with the solderless terminals provided and ended up using some I purchased separately and just recently one of the RCA ends has come apart requiring some fine work to remove the bit from the amplifier.

Not enough

Why is it that amp wiring kits never come with enough ground wire? Besides that I would not recommend this kit. The wire is good quality but if your like me and want a stable supply of power to your amp then I would get a thicker gauge wire. This came with a package deal I bought and the amp is only 400 watt. This is not enough to keep up with the power requirements of the amp. I've done the big 3 upgrade and cleaned up all my connections between the alt, battery and amplifier and am running a 100 amp alternator and still have issues with my amp. The only thing I have not done yet is replaced the amp power cable with a 4 gauge and I am positive that this will correct the power consumption issue.

Good deal

Will do the job for any amp requiring 8ga. Simple as that.

started out good

System placed in my Son's car a Scion TC, great sound, can hear him a block away. 5 months and now the amp cuts out when cranking it up, if you tap amp it comes back on, told my son to contact Crunch and see what they will do about, one of his friends had the same amp and had the same issue, Crunch replaced it for him.

What a Deal!

This little sub makes some outstanding bass when in a custom built box. Aero-port box tuned for 42-38 Mhz notes. This sub Rocks. My friend has two 10s and he was blown away by my one.

i bought 4 of these and they hit hard they are just now starting to break in and its been about 1 week of bumpin em off of a cewin vega 2000.1 power stroker amp I recommend these subs to anyone who loves to feel all the notes in base ggod for the price too!!

amazing amp

i bought this amp thinking its just going to be a short period amp something i have just to bump my system a little bit until i go bigger but was i wrong when it says it can hit 1500 watts it means it. i hooked this amp up to my 2 12 inch alpines pushing a 800 watt max each sub 1600 watts together and what happened when i turned my system on i didnt even expect non name brand amp like a generic but when i turned it up i cracked my back window in my 97 integra did not expect that all n all its a great design its a hot amp and it makes your subs hit

Awesome - Powerfull - Affordable!!!

I have been using 2 of the Pioneer Premier TS-W1008D4 10" Professional sub woofers in a "Pre-Fab" box under the backseat of my Dodge Ram for 6 months now running off of a MMATS Professional 1600.1 mono-block amplifier.

These subs deliver stronger, harder, louder levels than any other 10" automotive sub woofers I have ever owned. They are an unbeatable price for the performance output and DB levels these sub woofers are capable of.

Not true 8awg

If you only have to power a 200 watt amp or so then its okay but if you have a 500 watt amp i would not recommend this kit... True power ratings not your "peak" ratings either.

Great enclosure, matches my Vibe's interior great and sound great for my alpine type E. The terminals are all that I can complain about.

Great package

An all inclusive package of what you need to install a subwoofer/amplifier system to your car/ truck.

Main power cord was almost not long enough for my car. I ran the cables from the driver's side in the engine bay, then through the firewall on the passenger side back through the side floor panels to back behind my seats on the drivers side. (I couldn't run the cable through the driver's side firewall due to the fact that I didn't want to drill it to run the cable).

I recommend you find the path you are going to run the cables and make sure it's going to be long enough before you buy your cables.

Great deal

Comes with just about everything you need. BUT, if you are running a 4-channel amp to 4 seperate speakers you will most likely need more speaker wire. Other than that its good and gets the job done with no overheating wires or anything.

i would recommend this item if you are trying to stay on the low end. It does it's job. The con of this item is that you are going to want to anchor it down because it will slide everywhere with its light weight

I have this amp running 4 Rockford marine subs in a 6.5 cubic foot box tuned to 35hz. And this thing is driving the s...out of them it hit 151.6 beat that with a 150.00 amp.....

Decent kit

I am not sure if this is a true 8 gauge kit, but it is not far off. I upgraded to a beefier kit, but this came with lots of speaker and power/ground wire and decent connectors. For the price it is a good kit,and will get you bumping but if you have a lot of money invested in a nice setup just stick with the more expensive wiring.

Great Sub!

I have two of these subs in a custom built, common air and ported enclosure in my Nissan truck. I have to say that these are the best sounding subs for the price. I have an old Directed 600D amp pushing them and hits hard! I am partial to Pioneer and always have been, but even my friends that are running or have run high end subs really like how these sound. I recommend these subs to anyone who wants a great sub for a great price.

Good Value

I bought this enclosure to audition several 10" subwoofers. I eventually made a fiberglass enclosure for my permanent set-up. Build quality is good - especially for under $20. This is why I decided to buy instead of making one.

The only issue that I ran into is that the cut out measures 9". Of the 6 subwoofers that I tested, none of them fit the enclosure, they all measure 9.25-9.35". Not too big of a deal though, a simple cut with the jigsaw took care of it. The carpet is of decent quality, I would have wanted to see a thicker, higher quality version though, but I suppose at this price point, bare MDF is fine.

The preinstalled poly-fill is probably worthless in most installs as its way too thin to make a difference. I ended up adding about 1/2lb of fill in addition to it preinstalled fill.

It has a nice box terminal, although I'm not a big fan of the screw in type (I prefer spring terminals). But again, I cant complain much as the price is so reasonable.

Finally, the silly "Absolute" badge fell off within a day of use, I think I would have pulled it off regardless. The badge is tacked in with small nails which does not go all the way through the enclosure (thankfully).

Overall a great item at an unbelievable price. Its probably worth more then the $17.00 that I paid for it.

sound great i have an infinity ref. 10 in the box but i dont listin to too much rap its more like rock and country....i hate the terminals they used for the speaker wire

Cheap materials

I got this with a sub amp package from sonic and i didnt really think much about the wiring kit. its just wires right? NO. the installer refused to use these wires because they were so cheap. theres not plastic surrounding the copper than copper wire itself. its dangerous and could catch your car on fire if used. DO NOT BUY.

Very happy of this kit! It is more like 10 gauge but it's enough for my power requirement! Overall great quality!

Awesome Sound

I absolutely love these subs. I bought these because a friend of mine had the bigger version of these subs and they sounded awesome!!! I made a custom box for these subs and they hit hard and clear. Whenever I bump when I'm driving, people always look over cause they can hear it and feel it. People always give me compliments saying that are extremely loud. As for the ladies who hear it, they love it :D. Anyways I would recommend these subs to someone with a lower budget for subs, but still want to have a really good tone. The only thing I dont like about these subs, is they cant get the super low notes...but since I built a ported box for them, I am able to get some of the lower notes. Overall, these subs are worth the money

Works great

Cheap and does what it's supposed to. True 8 guage wire. The little zippered case it comes in is great for storing all my leftover install stuff and fuses in.

Amp is amazing easy to use and def worth the money. I got it hooked up to 2 kicker Cvx and they sound great.
