Good Product

Used this package on my Mazda 6 i Sport and it covered the length of the car fine. Had scrap to splice off onto multiple amps.

Comes with everything you need at a great price!

I ordered this kit for my two 12" mtx subs and a one channel amp and it came with all of the wiring necessary to gets my subs bumping

Not bad

I bought this box about 6 months ago, and it's not a bad box, but it could have been built a little better and cleaner looking. The edges of the carpet where they cut out for the sub was starting to come up after I took it out of the box.

Good for starting out

This is a good box for a less powerful sub. It gets the job done.

nice sound great bass

this looks almost exactly like the one that i recently bought from sonicelectronix so i wanted to post a review to let everyone know how it does. To start off i went with this and the pioneer champion series pro sub because im limited on space but the box does perform very well with the sub but i do think it would sound alittle better in a slightly bigger box but dont let size fool you because this little box bangs trust me if your limited on space then this is the one for your small compact and awesome sound and bass pros:great sound awesome bass cons:none

Good for the price

As a starter amp, i have this pushing an RE srx 15 and it hits pretty nicely in a sealed box. It tends to run a little hot and the power cords are fit for 8 gauge, not 4 gauge wire like i suspected. But overall it preforms well and would recommend for a starter amp. I doubted if Dual would make quality products, and this seems to be pretty well made.

solid

Dual is a solid company. A lot of their stuff is cea2006 compliant. I have a dual amp, and its been blasting for over a year now. Even after i popped the fuse, right back to work.

This box was a great product. One of the best systems that I've ever owned! Dont bother trying to make your own - this saves you time and money.

Does the job

Havent had any issues. Gives the boom i need.

Not totally sealed, but a definite win.

Easy to connect, quality materials and decent looks make this a win. I can hear air moving out of it with my 2500 Watt peak nx12d Boss sub.

Awesome Sound!

I bought two of these thinking I was getting an entry level speaker and I was pleasantly surprised to see that this was a top of the line subwoofer. Just the craftsmanship was evidence, but when I installed them in a Audio Enhancers 2 12" box they palyed both musically and loud.

I was pretty sketched at first because I saw Dual at w***** at one time. But I did my research and it turns out they're a pretty decent company.

This amp works great for my 2 Hifonics 12's running at 1 Ohm amp stays very cool.

Good bang for your buck with this one

Great Product!

Seeing the price of what it was and what it used to be i thought it was going to be a piece of crap. But i get it, install it and WOW. This thing on a alpine mrp450 which ONLY pushes 400 rms at 2 ohms is pretty dang loud. Highly recommend if you don't have a lot of money to spend on sub-woofers.

Great looks...great sound...loud!!

Bought from SonicElectronix and arrived at my house 3 days later...installed in 1.50 cft sealed box wired at 4 ohms to my JBL GTO amp which is approx 500 watts rms. This sub gets loud and sounds great doing it on all types of music....highly recommended

I purchased this Daul mono block amp with a budget a cheap one to say the least. I have installed it and yes i got what i could afford at the time and for the money i would suggest this to anyone with a budget in mind

Awesome so fat

I just installed them today and they are crazy. i have them in a vented box in my ext cab chevy silverado. For the price they are better than my mtx, and fosgates!!

Crazy

These things WANG! My system is in a custom built box and they beat better than my friends Kicker Comps. I can't get enough of these. Sonic Electronix is also pretty awesome. I've bought all of my cars electronics from them and it wasn't that pricey.

This product works great, no regrets in buying it and for a great price. BUMPS!

Loud and affordable

This sub worked great it hit hard all the time and was very crisp. I was running it with a Rockford Fosgate amp that was pushing a little over 600rms for a year now and it still sounds great really good quality sub.

Great Value

I shopped around but couldn't beat the deal I got from Sonic Electronix on this Raptor cable set for connecting my subwoofer.

So I've had this box for about two weeks, and I'm not ashamed of it. I have a 12" Kicker CVX and 750 rms watts goin to it. It hasn't failed me once I got it working. But the terminals inside the box gave me troubles. They're made out of cheap cheap thin metal that felt like plastic. After I finally figured it out it was 2 hours l8r. I just took out the terminals and hooked the wires straight up, but I expected a good electrical connection but apparently not. Other than that hassle I like the box.

this box does not use true 3/4" wood, its 11/16"

decent quality, but wood is undersized. if using a high power woofer this might be a problem. im using this box for a Image Dynamics IDQ12 with low power so this wont be a problem.

Great product

I used this kit for one Alpine Type R 12 with an MRP-M500 amp and it works perfectly! I don't know if it's true 8 gauge, but I'm sure it's not more than 10 gauge. Been using it for a month and haven't had any problems.

Great box for the price

Have a Rockford Fosgate R2D2-12 mounted in it and it does the job for me. Regarding other reviews that say the box is too thin and won't handle higher power. Define what "higher power" is so your reviews can be helpful. The RF sub can handle 250W RMS (500 max) mated to an appropriate amp. I don't think it will blow the sides off. 1000W RMS maybe but then you shouldn't be buying the Sonic house brand sub box if you're running that kind of power. The box is very sturdy and does the job quite nicely for 250W RMS.

Wow...what a wiring kit!

Included in a bundle, you'd expect it to be crap quality. Everything, from the fuse to the wires to the rca's, very nicely done. No complaints at all. Provides clean power to the amp without issue!

Had everything I needed and then some for installing a 300 W RMS amp and a sub in the trunk of my 08 Civic. Great kit.

I challenge you to find a better deal than this kit.
For the price it just can't be beat!
If you're looking for competition stuff look elsewhere.
This kit is just for the DIY installer who needs a clean simply install and its more than enough.

Is a good box for the price and with the house speakers it is a great value and sounds good too.

Decent entry level

For an entry level setup, not a bad wiring set. I did have a few problems with the solderless terminals provided and ended up using some I purchased separately and just recently one of the RCA ends has come apart requiring some fine work to remove the bit from the amplifier.

Not enough

Why is it that amp wiring kits never come with enough ground wire? Besides that I would not recommend this kit. The wire is good quality but if your like me and want a stable supply of power to your amp then I would get a thicker gauge wire. This came with a package deal I bought and the amp is only 400 watt. This is not enough to keep up with the power requirements of the amp. I've done the big 3 upgrade and cleaned up all my connections between the alt, battery and amplifier and am running a 100 amp alternator and still have issues with my amp. The only thing I have not done yet is replaced the amp power cable with a 4 gauge and I am positive that this will correct the power consumption issue.

Not true 8awg

If you only have to power a 200 watt amp or so then its okay but if you have a 500 watt amp i would not recommend this kit... True power ratings not your "peak" ratings either.

Great package

An all inclusive package of what you need to install a subwoofer/amplifier system to your car/ truck.

Main power cord was almost not long enough for my car. I ran the cables from the driver's side in the engine bay, then through the firewall on the passenger side back through the side floor panels to back behind my seats on the drivers side. (I couldn't run the cable through the driver's side firewall due to the fact that I didn't want to drill it to run the cable).

I recommend you find the path you are going to run the cables and make sure it's going to be long enough before you buy your cables.

Great deal

Comes with just about everything you need. BUT, if you are running a 4-channel amp to 4 seperate speakers you will most likely need more speaker wire. Other than that its good and gets the job done with no overheating wires or anything.

Worked well for a low budget install. Wiring was nice and RCA's were ok too.

This package has everything you need, very high quality, and very organized, comes with plenty or components, and I still have some left over.

Decent kit

I am not sure if this is a true 8 gauge kit, but it is not far off. I upgraded to a beefier kit, but this came with lots of speaker and power/ground wire and decent connectors. For the price it is a good kit,and will get you bumping but if you have a lot of money invested in a nice setup just stick with the more expensive wiring.

Cheap materials

I got this with a sub amp package from sonic and i didnt really think much about the wiring kit. its just wires right? NO. the installer refused to use these wires because they were so cheap. theres not plastic surrounding the copper than copper wire itself. its dangerous and could catch your car on fire if used. DO NOT BUY.

Good price for a good product!

Very happy of this kit! It is more like 10 gauge but it's enough for my power requirement! Overall great quality!

Works great

Cheap and does what it's supposed to. True 8 guage wire. The little zippered case it comes in is great for storing all my leftover install stuff and fuses in.
