Bang for the Buck

Used this kit to install two Pioneer GM-D amplifiers in my 2011 WRX. It worked great. For the money, you probably wont find a better deal anywhere. $50 is a bargain. I don't see any downsides to this kit. The only thing to remember is that it's CCA wiring and not OFC. If you don't know the difference, I recommend doing research first to see if it's ok for you. But it worked great in my car, no problems.

Not true gauge

The 4 gauge is smaller than the 8 gauge Walmart brand.. 0 gauge is a little bigger than true 4 gauge.. Its not true.

Perfect amount of cable.

I purchased this to install a 1700.1 Hifonics Brutus and a JL 300/4 amp in my 2006 Dodge Ram.
The Hifonics amp was mounted under the drivers seat and the JL under the passenger side.
There was just enough 1/0 cable to run from the battery to the amps and from the amps to ground.
I did not used the 4g cable.
Instead of crimping the provided cable lugs, I chose to solder them.

It's more like 2ga then a true 1/0, that being said. It's an excellent kit. Still big wire. Installs great, thick jacket and plenty of power transfer with minimal voltage loss.

Even came with 5 foot runs of 4 guage for load side of fusable distribution block, which I ordered from Sonic as well (JL Audio 1/0 input to 4- 4/8 guage output fusable DB.) that is on back order still.

awesome amp, exactly what i anticipated

when it says its 900 watts and it says its bridged 2 channels @ 450 each rms u know basically all of the ratings rms are like double overated. i feel like im getting maybe around 60rms x4 @4ohm, dont got a meter but if they put anything near what they claim my speakers would all be abused or blown.

if u need some extra power for your 4 main car speakers, this should be more than enough, was for me and i love loud music.. its probably enough to make u deaf quick lol, yet very clean clear power. its okay we can always turn the gain down to not murder our eardrums.

additionally i dont see why anyone would ever need a 4 channel amp louder or more watts than what this one truly puts out because this is loud as hell lol. i bet if i drove by another car full volume they would feel their volume is maxed in their own car lol. just with probably 1 window down lol.

maxxsonics makes good quality amps, as long as u know what those true specs actually are. this is my first crunch amp, but i've been a hifonics brutus amp fan. I would recommend this amp to anyone.

Good thick CCA wire. fantastic value and commendable performance

Using the 1/0 to create a run from my 200A breaker next to the battery, to the passenger cabin distribution block.
same 1/0 CCA that is included in the Belva Big 3. great flexibility. surprisingly supple.
Cons: not OFC,oh well.
Not fond of the massive clunky fuse holder that comes with the kit but I have other plans for it other than for car audio... electric Kayak :) LOL
Great value. The supplied terminals didn't give me any trouble when soldering. good solid clean shimmery solder job. rock solid.
Kit was enough to run main 1/0 from 200A breaker into cabin where it meets fused distribution block. from there two separate runs of 4g to power a Sony GSM4 (rms80wx4@2ohms) and a JBL BP600.1 (600Wrms@2ohms) respectively. perhaps my power supply is a little heavy handed but it leaves me decent headroom to grow my system.

Once everything was connected there was enough wire left over that I could likely install a third amp, or do a separate install.
If you're doing more than one amp, be kind to your wallet and your self and pick up this inclusive dual amp wiring kit. its highly unlikely you'll regret it, unless you're around salt laiden air or marine application.... Tinned ofc is best for marine applications.

The switches on the back move from vibrations and you have to keep adjusting the amp. But for the price its alright doesn't overheat or anything.
