LOVE IT!

I have this for my aux-in mod, and this product work really good. The sound is clear and also charge the ipod. Great price!

I love these things. It charges your ipod and lets you tie into a stereo with an aux in. It also has a video out put which is cool for the in dash screens!

I bought 2 of these units, 1 worked fine, the other had a bad connection at the 30 pin plug.....so, oh well. but a good price none the less

Don't spend all your money

Don't spend all your money on expensive system compatible Ipod adapters, This one works great for the price.

Works well for audio but not video

The cable's audio capabilities work well, but I was unable to utilize the video out option as the Ipod would never switch into video mode to send out the video signal over the composite wire.

Only works for Older Ipods! - 6th Gen WATCHOUT!!!!

Eventhough the cable is of great quality and will hooks up to your car, the description DOESN"T mention that this item will not work on 6th Gen IPODs. Is a great buy for older models.

DO NOT buy for 6th gen & Newer Ipods.

Video does not work on IPOD classic 160

I use the cable on an iPod classic 160 in the automobile.The video does not work,I've been told because of the updated firmware.For the video to work you need the APPLE cable. Audio and charging work fine.

Only for "bootleg" installs

Many receivers nowadays have their own cables and for good reason. This should only be used for situations were Ipod control from the headunit is not possible.

Good deal but incomplete

I would recommend this to another, as these are not easy to find, and Sonic should be applauded for providing it. That being said, I feel it's a bit of overkill to bait the addition of the "charging function" for the purpose of requiring an adapter to be purchased for it to work. The charging ability could have easily been built into the product and the price adjusted accordingly.

OK Product

This is an OK product. Its good for charging the ipod when you hook it up to power. It doesn't sound as good as the connection to the headphone. I thought it was going to be louder, but it sounds louder hooking the ipod through the headphone jack. But overall, its an OK product.

Good But Not Great

I wanted this adapter so I could run a "Low Profile LOD" from my Ipod to my portable headphone Amplifier. It is very small and generaly what I wanted but the Docking plug does not have "Locking Pins" to hold the adapter to the bottom of the Ipod, so it comes loose too easily. The mini USB is good for charging only and that can be done through the dock pass-thru located in the bottom.
Overall a pretty good product but a little pricey for the value.
