Insane Bass

The following review is for a previous version (10CVR102).

If you can put these in a good box, they will be the hardest hittin 10's you could ever buy. A friend of mine got 2 of these in his s10, and i can hear him comin to my house from 2 blocks away.. when we drive around listenin to Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane, i feel the bass slammin me in the chest and it really does turn heads. However, he blew his first pair from not giving a proper break in period..

i want a replacement or exchange

The following review is for a previous version (40CWR102).

Not working as good as i expected,i got this a month or so ago and it sounds great at high levels but cone makes a noise at low volume. So i tried 2 other kicker single coil subs that i have and both sound good at all volume levels. To me it sounds like the speaker cone on this dual voice coil subs separate from the main cone.who doesn't like subs bumping loud but you know when you turn volume down to talk to your passengers, well that is when it gets so annoying. I might have gotten a bad one so i'll get in touch with sonic. Might be a good product.

10in kickers

The following review is for a previous version (10CVR102).

These subs are AMAZING I put them under my seat in an 06 Silverado ext cab and they pump like crazy. I highly recommend these subs. I have a 500.1 Rockford amp pumping them and it does the job.

Alot of Boom for a little price

The following review is for a previous version (10CVR102).

I purchased 2 CVR102 Subs for custom fiberglass enclosures that is in each trunk well. I wasn't expecting them to hit as hard as the do. They are each hooked up to a JAD1200.1 NVX Mono Block Amp running at 4 ohms each.
I selected 4 ohms over 1 ohm due to I didn't want to over power them.
Good mid level Subwoofers.
Kicker else would you expect.

Kicker CWR102 Review

The following review is for a previous version (40CWR102).

I recently purchased this sub woofer and have been pleased with it since. I was looking for something with deep, hard bass, that wasn't overbearingly loud. The CWR102 delivered that exactly. The option to switch between 2 ohms and 8 ohms is nice as well. I have it running at 2 ohms, on a 600 watt amp. It shakes my entire car but the volume still balances well with the speakers powered by head unit. This is a good product to use if you don't want to have another amp installed to power your other speakers.

another stunning kicker product

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR102).

all i haft to say is WOW!. these are defiantly not the biggest subs out there but they sure sound loud, clear and don't distort at all. i have honestly beat the sh*t out of these subs for years and they still hit like the first day. i have been running them on a kenwood 1800 watt monoblock, btw thats 100 more watts that they are rated for. other subs would blow up but these cvrs keep hitting.
overall and amazing value and an amazing subwoofer.

amazing

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR102).

So after blowing through some mtx systems i decided to just go with kicker to see how they put up to mtx. I found that kicker was very safe and very hard to blow. I pushed as much sound out of them as i could and they still sound perfect. I would def recommend this product for is value durability and the performance.

The following review is for a previous version (05CVR102).

I currently have one 10'' Kicker CompVR in a sealed box along with a older model Rockford Punch 55.2 bridged and this 10 is all i need for my everyday listening. I've had the 12's cvrs and those were way to much for me. Best subs 5 stars!

Perfect subs for limited space!

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR102).

These subs are perfect if you have a limited amount of space. I have a regular cab pickup and I can barely fit a truck box behind my bench seat. I managed to get two CompVR's back there and wired to a Kenwood KAC-9401D amp and I made a great investment. I had some old (and I mean old) SVC subs and I needed to update my system. I needed something that can handle power, move a lot of air for it size, and can last for quite some time and the Kicker CompVR's are what I chose. Also, great job Sonic Electronix on the fast shipping! I live in Oregon and I received everything within 2 days, with free shipping!

Great

The following review is for a previous version (10CVR102).

Hands down this is the best 10" sub you can get for under $100. I had two 12" CVRs a few years ago in a hatchback and they were awesome.
Unfortunately now I'm stuck with a 2001 Eclipse Convertible, basically the worst car in existence for subs. Full of dead areas and all the bass collects at the windshield and the floor. The soft top absorbs any bass from the middle of the seats upward.
That being said, I threw two of these subs in a smaller box in the back seat (did a rear seat removal) and they perform better than anything I've put in this car. Even with the dead areas, the bass is still loud enough and rattles everything. I still haven't even fully broken them in!
In short, if you've been having troubles getting loud bass levels in your car because your car simply sucks for audio like mine, get two of these and you'll be set to go!!

Absolutely spectacular.

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR102).

these subs are straight up amazing, they sound good and pound very hard. i have two of these in a sealed box (so their size doesn't interfere with ability to reach low tones) connected to a phoenix rival 1600 w max amp and they take every bit of the power with ease. people are easily deceived by their size, and often blow them off. but they usually end up blowing their two 12s out of the water. insane. highly recommended.

Awesome Sub!!!

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR102).

This sub is incredible! I only put one ten in the back of my truck and it hits harder than my buddies two ten inch rockford fosgates. This sub will definitely not let you down. I’ve got it bridged up to a Sony 1000w amp and it cranks! Absolutely the way to go. Hits all the highs and lows that other subs don’t pick up and everyone I know is jealous and planning on switching out their subs for a set of these bad boys. Hope this review helped thanks.

Amazing!

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR102).

I bought this sub over a year ago and I first was using a homemade box and it sounded horrible, then i upgraded to a vented sound ordanence box with the correctly matched volumes and it is amazing! I'm using a Boss PH2.800 amp which is only giving it about 250 watts and my car shakes! Definatly buying Kicker again just might get a 12 or 15 inch next time. however I would also recommend getting the dual 4 ohm voice coil, using the 2 ohm is a little limiting depending on the rest of your setup

Good sub for the price

The following review is for a previous version (40CWR102).

I installed one of these in a 95 Nissan 300zx, custom box. Running it off a 5 channel amp (along with my other speakers). Bass sounded good, hit hard. My only issue was I’m more used to the deeper bass that a 12” sub has, than the tighter bass of a 10”. But overall was happy with the sub, and couldn’t beat the price.

high quality entry subwoofer

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR102).

I have 2 of these running off a 700 watt amp. At first they hit very awkwardly but after about a month they broke in and they hit great. I have them in the 2T10-1.2 sonic box in a sigle cab s-10. The cubic feet is nearly perfect for these subs i totally recommend. And just to let you know the volume of Boom these have, i got pulled over today by a cop...he came up to my window and he asked me if i had 2 12's, i told him what i have and he told me that he heard me more than 500ft away. Success :]

RECOMENDED!!!!

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR102).

Have 2 of them hooked up to a Kenwood KAC amp and they are both getting 250 rms each. I have them in small sealed boxes with polyfill behind the seat of my 1993 Dodge Ram D150. I have the gain turned up all the way and i have the bass boost set at 8 and they are just badass. I can turn them up all the way and stand in the bed of my pickup and get a foot message. They sound good and hit good and ive had them for about a week and they are starting to break in and getting even better. I would defenetely recomend these.
