Great audio sound, but not an exact fit for oem original.

The speakers were not a exact fit as two of the mounting holes on the frame were not lining up with the existing mounting holes. I had to offset speakers a little to use 3 of the existing mounting holes and drill a new hole for the last mounting holes on the speakers. But the speakers were mountable and have great sound. I was not able to use the rubber boot seals order with the speakers as they made it impossible to mount the speakers. Best not to order these for a Nissan rogue.

I purchased these to replace the dash tweeters in my 2013 RA4 XLE without JBL. They did not come with a resistor so I used 200Hz ones I had already because they were receiving full signal from the head unit so they were distorting like a lot when the volume was up past half way with hip hop and rap. After the resistors they work very well, the highs are cleaner and much more bright than the OEM paper tweeters and the small amount of mid they drive adds to the sound stage up high in the car. A nice improvement but Kicker really should know to put resistors on these since a 4" driver is never going to do well under 200Hz. If you're wanting a nicer sound that is clean and doesn't sound like muffled paper then these do well, especially for the price. They also don't fall apart and get distorted like the OEM tweeters when the volume is turned up toward the top of the head unit's range.

The speakers bolted right in with the OEM bolts. Too bad only Taco Tunes has the correct connectors for our RAV4 and they're made for '17 Camry tweeters and are almost $30 shipped. They do work for the 2013+ RAV4 but so crazy for a piece of plastic, two spade connectors, wires and some terminal connectors.

The speaker cover grills in the dash can be removed with a small thin screwdriver covered with strong tape on the tip. Just put it in between the dash and the grill lip at the front near you and it pops up, the backside has hooks. After that is out you're good to go.

Great sound

These Kicker 6x9s give clear and crisp sound. If you are looking to upgrade your factory speakers, these are it. Great price.

Don't fit correctly, sound okay.

The vehicle speaker picker on this site is incorrect. These do not fit in 1990 VW Cabriolet rear speaker position properly. I shoehorned them in but one of my rear windows doesn't go down 100% of the way now. They don't properly fit in the mounting bracket in the car and they are a tad too deep.

Sonic Electronix did not reply to any of my email requests for support. Overall, for my first experience here, I am disappointed.
