Great Backfill
I purchased these to use as backfill in my NVX system and I am pleased to report that they have met my expectations to a T. They are plenty clear, and handle the power I am throwing at them very well. Like most speakers of this size and design they are limited by how much bass they can produce, but for rear fill in a system they are perfect. My kids say this is a huge improvement over the Bose speakers they replaced.

Good speaker for the money.
Looks like a speaker costing a lot more . Sounds great, although not like a speaker costing a lot more.

Great bang for the buck
So far, NVX hasn't let me down with anything I've tried. While these speakers certainly aren't "audiophile" quality, they are without a doubt better than anything I've ever heard in the same price range. I have them running off of an average power H/U with no amp and they still supply plenty of clear volume.

Review Speakers NVX=NSP525
A great speaker for the price. All around good, could make a little more base.

Insanely genius product
I've installed car audio for years and was always looking for the best way to improve the door panel and mounting locations. I've done everything from making wood brackets to sound deadening the whole door panel inside and out, even that doesn't compare to what these simple silicone baffles do. For a fraction of the price. I'm ordering more sizes now for the future.

Perfect fit and Great Sound
Bought a pair for a 2011 Ford transit, they fitted perfectly like they were OEM. The sound was great with the stock stereo. Doesn't come with extra wire to wire up , so I had to buy my own.

Very surprising
I have been something of an audiophile most of my life, heard and built alot of really good systems. These speakers are a very good deal for the money. Sound as good as most speakers costing $100 plus a pair. I was totally surprised when I threw them in an old truck just for some sound. 5.25's in the doors, 5X7's in back. 17 watt RMS head unit power only, no amp. Not alot of bass, but they aren't meant for bass. Really nice clear mids and highs, with a bit of bass thrown in. I would HIGHLY recommend these speakers to anyone looking to upgrade a factory system, or even to use as fill ins on a higher powered system. Can't go wrong with these for the money.

who would have thought
I wasn't too sure about buying these but I am so glad I did. I want more but when I looked out of stock. I guess everyone wants them and should buy them.

Nice little speaker, good value
Seems to be well made, sounds decent. Highs are clear, but not overly bright or hissy. Bass is respectable for its size. I'm pleased. I'm rating it 5 stars for value.

Excellent bang for the buck!!
These speakers far exceeded my expectations based on the cost. They are very well made and sound great, probably as well or better than the much more expensive speakers I have in my other car.

so far so good
I have 2 sets of these in my 1991 Cherokee Laredo 4.0 2 door and they sound amazing, I'm glad I chose to go with NVX, in my next build I think I'm going with nothing but NVX products.

Great Upgrade for my Dodge Caravan
I am so impressed with these 5.25 front speakers, especially for the price. I had to replace my front speakers and purchased a pair of NVX as replacements. They look and sound so much better than I expected! So good, in fact, Im going to purchase a pair of 6x9's for the rear. Highly recommend Sonic Electronix and these NVX speakers.

Great speakers, but the 6x8 that should have gone in would have been better
I did purchase these on Amazon but Sonic was the vendor (Sonic showed out of stock but not on Amazon). I used the fit guide from Sonic, I should have went with the 6x8 that another competitors fit guide said was correct (2008 Grand Marquis.) but the fit guide at work said either could be correct.) So I used the adapter plates (insert pain in the backside) self taping screws and they are in solid and sound good, hopefully during my next days off I'll have a chance to swap out the head unit and add the 4 channel and mono block amps along with the sub woofer. looking forward to hearing them with other than a cheap ford head unit. BTW the head unit, 4 channel amp kit, 4 channel amp, RCAs along with the mono block amp, sub and box all came from Sonic, all NVX but the head unit and 4 channel (Cerwin Vega), great service guys and I'm certain once I get the rest in I'll be grinning ear to ear!
Thanks again Sonic, keep in mind I work for an electronics retailer that sells car audio, it was my function there for years, I sell different product for them now. I

Protecting them sonic gems
I'd venture to say if you have an older vehicle, especially an older pickup, we know all too well the havoc that moisture+time can wreak on all sorts of internal door components, despite good window seals. I just had a refresher course on that topic when replacing the side view mirror; decided since I had the panel off, why not do some cleaning and maintenance... pulled out some corroded butted MTX terminator 5.25, terminals, frame, all in sad sad shape. they were due for replacement, (passenger door driver suffered puncture wound beyond cosmetics)
To stay ahead of the elements and protect the fresh upgraded replacement speakers, I am using the 5.25 nix baffles in the doors of my '90 Jeep Comanche.
first impressions. the bolt pattern aligns great with stock speaker mounting, thumbs up.
the material feels like it will last many years. rubber baffle material also act like a gasket between the metal of the door and the driver. the back of the baffle leaves about an 1.5" gap between outer doorskin, where I placed the foam circle. it extends plenty far beyond the rear of a Kicker KSC5 driver, which is promising for protecting the rear assembly of the driver.
I treated the door with NVX 91mil thick damping material. one is treated, one is untreated. I will do a comparison of how the baffle performs in a damped door environment, Vs. undamped door environment. will report back soon
it should be noted that if the door panel doesn't allow for much space between driver mounting surface and inside of door panel, one may have to trim some of the material from the baffle mounting lip. test fit door panel before trimming the ring though!
if this^^ doesn't apply to your situation, the extra material acts to channel more sonic energy into the listening space, less lost to the voids of the back of your door panel.
