C-V rocks!

The following review is for H452, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

The Cerwin Vega H452 speakers were tested against Soundstream SF-502T and Audiobahn AMS525H. These 3 were chosen because they have an efficiency/sensitivity rating of 91db or higher. Testing was done objectively; using the same input channel, a 1k hz test tone and an SPL meter. As well as 3 specific music tracks to test music quality in addition to output level.
The CV's were 5db louder than the Audiobahn and 4db louder than the Soundstream.
(I kept the CV's of course and recommend them to anyone wanting great 5.25" speakers. I love them, just wish they came with grills)

The fit was perfect. Nice crisp sound. Perfect addition to the sound I was hearing for.

So much better than OEM speakers!

The following review is for H452, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I just installed these in my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. The fit was perfect; the tweeter is relatively flush with the edge of the height of the woofer surround - it fit behind my factory door skins. There are no grills included, beyond the hard mesh that protects the tweeter. These speakers have dramatically better sound than the OEM speakers I replaced (granted they were 14 years old...) Naturally, there are limits to how much bass you can produce from 5.25" speakers which is why I also replaced my rear speakers with a pair of Cerwin Vega H4694 speakers (which Sonic Electronix doesn't sell for some reason.) The sound is very tight and accurate for mid-bass and treble -- the majority of bass is going to be provided by your rear speakers or subwoofer. Speaker installation can vary from vehicle to vehicle, it wasn't too difficult to replace the front speakers on my Grand Prix (the rears were a completely different story). There are probably a few videos on YouTube that will walk you through installation for your specific vehicle. I would definitely recommend these speakers...
