Good but kinda on the $$ high

I got this speakers to replace my stock speakers on my 12 Chevy Silverado I been told cerwin vega made good speakers
They sound good the voice it's more clear and crispy well anything it's better than stock but now I wonder if I can get that sound with any other speakers for less money

clean, crisp, not over bearing

i just installed these, tweaked the radio for bout half hour, and came to the conclusion that these are just clean sounding speakers. i have them free air, no baffle, just in the rear panel of my hatchback on either side, but my hatch is open i dont have the cargo cover so they are open. regardless they sound clean, and punchy. if i set the crossover to remove low notes below 100hz i can crank these and keep that punchy kick sound. as of now i have no crossover cut offs and the bass turned up a notch untill i get my sub and im just enveloped in great sound. vocals are recognized and not lost in the crunch of guitars or awkward bass notes. speaking of guitars, they sound heavy, or twangy depending on the song. if i play an hd radio station or a flac audio song, forget it. its heaven to my hears. i have this paired with infinity 3.5" in the front and a jvc aresenal deck. if and when i get that rear cargo cover i dont doubt it will sound better, as the cover will act like i have a trunk and create some separate air space for the lower notes.
im glad i went nostalgic and decided on these vegas. love the home theater subs from them, diggin the car speakers so far.

I have the speakers inside my truck, great quality sound I would recommend these speakers to anyone who is looking for a great sound.
