07 Dodge Dakota install

Used as part of a Sony Head install in a 2007 Dodge Dakota Club cab.
Stock speakers have mating connector. Chose to not cut and splice those wire and this worked like a charm with the Kenwoods I put in the door.

JBL 6427 GTO 4x6 Coaxials

Just installed these in my 1994 Olds Silhouette van and what a difference, had to adjust the fade more toward the rear speakers, will also be upgrading the rear speakers and adding a JBL 4 channel amp.

I bought these to install my speakers and ended up not using them. The product seemed flimsy and not as well put together as their other products.

I wish I'd bought speakers that didn't require these

If you can, spend a little more money and get speakers designed to fit your vehicle so you don't have to mess with these things. They're made of cheap, brittle plastic, and they somehow manage to not quite line up with any of the mounting holes for the speakers. I could've gotten better speakers with built-in mounting tabs for my car for less money than I spent on speakers and these mounting brackets. They ended up being way more hassle than they're worth.

Functional , had to modify.

I was told they would fit,but they didn't . I had to modify them and use a couple long screws with stacks of washers. I made them work. Wife's happy!

I recently installed these in the front doors of my 2014 Corolla they sound so much better and louder than stock speakers. Wow is all I can say I didn't realize how much replacing the tweeters made but it's a night and day difference over stock. I would recommend these speakers to anyone.

Very Fast

I ordered these speakers by telephone, as my computer was down. Sonic only had one set in stock at the closest warehouse, so they had to send them from the southern states to upstate New York. They expedited shipping at no extra charge and were at my place in about a week. I was impressed, as this was just before Christmas.

Great sound at a great price

Installed in my girlfriend's Scion TC... lets just say I finally can hear again. The vocals/mids sound so great. The price was unbeatable so I decided I might as well go for it. It was a Christmas present of course. Again though, Infinity speakers are always awesome. Thanks

flimsy plastic, had to snap off many extra pieces on the inside and outside, used it as a buffer between door metal and speaker...flimsy but it worked! no rattling (but i suppose that would be more of a consequence of proper install) and fit decent. used for 2 comps and 2 coax, front and rear scion xb 2012. worked fine like i said, with 6.5 JL C2 speakers. decent if you dont feel like making your own out of wood or something...cant complain for the price

Cheap plastic and doesn't fit my 6 1/2 speakers perfectly, so I screwed my speakers into the old holders.

Meh not for high powered systems

For a drop in factory upgrade,but for high powered systems they are not good.. as they have already cracked and now rattle. These can not withstand alot of vibration... if your putting high powered subs in your vehicle, I would suggest using some custom cut wood instead of these.. they are plastic.. and wood will last..

Decent product. ABS plastic is always easily broken so you have to take care of how you cut it. Overall I think they worked for my application and that is about it. Nothing special here.

Can use it in an Xterra

Got it to fit some 5 1/4" speakers in the 2007 Xterra. Got the job done, though not made for this vehicle.

I bought this and used it to install a pair of Clarion 6.5 inch 2-ways into the rear spots for my car. I'd heard the stock speakers were kind of an in-between size, and so these were recommended.

They worked. It was a really tight space and it took a long time, but there are enough different holes and grooves and gaps in these adapters to work for whatever configuration it is you need. Go easy on these things when you're tightening screws. The plastic is sturdy, but if you really go to town tightening those screws, it's quite possible you'll crack the plastic.

There are some bits of the adapters that protrude for certain configurations. Most of them have a sort of scored indentation thing so you can snap them off if you don't need them. I had to do that in a couple of spots in order to use my factory grilles.

Bottom line: they do the job

I replaced the stock Alpine speakers in my 2014 Ram 1500 Sport recently. I picked up a few sets of these to use for the 6x9 door speakers front and rear.

These do NOT fit the 3.5" dash speakers, for those you will need to locate the Metra 71-039C adapters...not available from Sonic sadly.

The connectors work as expected, fit well and are exactly what you expect/need. Metra has always been my go to for car audio install products.

Doesn't fit dash speakers

Found out the hard way after purchasing 3 pairs of these for the dash, doors, and rear speakers.

The dash are different.

Ended up running my own speaker wire, but this would work fine for the doors and rear if you just wanted to upgrade speakers and use stock wiring.

Car was a 2006 Chrysler 300c with the Boston Audio - for reference.

Worthy Upgrade

I upgraded my factory Jeep front dash speakers with these Infinity models as a set from Sonic Electronix. For those complaining about the lack of bass, these are midrange speakers and tweeters, not subwoofers. These really cleaned up the mids and highs and made for a clearer listening experience. Purchased as a package for upgrading the whole vehicle for under $200! Couldn't pass that up!

Would definitely recommend these speakers. Bought them for the front doors of my Soul but put them in the back doors instead. Front already had tweeters but they were in dash, couldn't figure out where to put crossover and run wire to dash because the molex in the door made it hard to run wire and didn't want to drill hole in new doors. Infinity Kappa coax in the front and these in the back doors pointed towards the front right behind my head! Couldn't have worked out better, brought the stock head unit to life!
