small
Well this amp its good overall.... it won't push what it says it would but it defenitlly be perfect for a set up off subwoofers between the 250-350 watts range it would definitly push them hard and its sound cualitty its great, clear sound... when I install this amp I hook it up to a kicker CVR 400 watts RMS and it push it really good but after a couple minutes of playing it would drop its power to cold down won't shot off which I thing its a good thing.... and that was on a 2 ohm set up.... so I'll would recommended overall like I said for a 250-350 watts at a 2 ohms set up...

Great Amp for the Price
This is a really good amp for the price, it's small and not that heavy. There are a couple downsides to it as well though. First off mounting it is almost impossible unless you have a friend to help, the other down side to it is its over rated sadly, I was hoping that it would power my 2 12" exile subs (600rms each) it does but not as well as it should.
I would highly recommend this amp to anyone who is looking for an amp that has great bang for the buck.

Size don't matter
When I first got this amp, it was so small, I was thinking It was going to be good, but when I installed it, it blew my mind, the power it gives out it's crazy, best base amp I've had, recommended it to anybody looking for a hard hitting base amp

Quick bang for your buck
This amp will do what it says but it does get very hot. Actually went into protect a few times. I've burned 2 of them up while they were still under warranty, that's why I love sonic.

Big Power, Small Block
I was surprised when I first opened the box and saw a very small amp, but after I Installed it and turned on my car it just BLEW my mind. I cant even turn my stereo more than half way up cus then it just way to loud. I love this little amp.

Crazy
I bought this amp based solely on the price to power ratio. When I first received it, my buddies and I had a good laugh at the size and figured I had been ripped off. There was no way this little thing could put out anything over 500 rms at any ohm load, but boy was I wrong. After welding the voice coil to the magnet of my Alpine type R 15 at 2 ohms, I decided to go with the Digital Designs 1500 class 15 at 4 ohms. The sub handled it, but barely. This is when I decided to really see what this thing had. I am currently running a Digital Designs redline series at one ohm (that's right, this thing actually is 1 ohm stable), at roughly 1800 watts. This amp and sub have been wreaking havoc on my cars nuts and bolts and shows no sign of slowing down any time soon. For the price I wouldn't recommend any other amp on the market. This amp went from a joke to the hardest driving amp I've ever owned.

Awesome!!!
Awesome amp once you get past the actual size of it. i have the rz1-2300 on the 12" solo barics and I am completely impressed. The only con is that the bass remote doesn't adjust the way I would prefer.

awesome bang for the buck
This amp is a lot smaller than I expected and when I installed it and turned on I was amazed. Not bad at all for the size and of course the price.

over rated but I like these little amp
i have purchased many of these amps and they have been great...this one though rated at over 2300WATTS can only do 700watts max at 14 volts... but its quick to give out that 700 watts making it seem to have a lot or power... crossover is old school 80htz either on or off... i recommend a radio with a good processor to tweak the x0ver ...

Great amp
This tiny amp kicks a** and takes names it powers my two dual 12s very well you should turn the bass down so you don't blow or melt any coils mounting sucks though :)

Good but not great.
the first thing I noticed was how small the amp was, I knew it would be small but didn't think it would be as small as it was. This amp can be installed ANYWHERE. I was seeing a lot of reviews saying the amp would get hot but I have not had that problem at all. I have the amp wired to 2 Ohm's pushing 1 Skar VD-12 which is rated at 500 Watts RMS. The amp pushes the sub good enough, still feels like the sub wants more power. But overall for the price you can't go wrong with purchasing this amplifier.

awesome amp
just hooked this amp up yesterday. let me tell you this amp pushes my two alpine swsd2 like my Rockford fosgate couldn't. I love this small amp, I don't even have it turned up all the way. it doesn't dim your lights when the bass hits. I was very amazed, so don't hesitate to buy one and save money.

Good Price!
Overall a really nice monoblock amp. I have it pushing 2, 12" MB Quartz Subs in a ported box at 4ohms. It does a good job I had to turn the gain up a little higher than I thought so I'm ot sure on the RMS power rating. If I run the subs at 2ohms I may be able to turn the gain down a little more. I dont wont the amp to start cliping. Overall good amp for the price!

Bad Performance
Order this amp to power a 1000w subwoofer and let me tell you it does NOT have the power to do it. This amp is definitely WAY overrated. It's not CEA compliant and I definitely won't be purchasing any audio equipment that isn't in the future.

NO THAT GOOD
I OWN 2 OF THESE AMPS AND REGRET BUYING THEM. THEY CAN'T PUSH MY MEMPHIS 15Q1 SUB. REAL-RATED POWER RMS. IS 650@2 OHMS. FOUND THAT OUT ON THE POWER ACOUSTIK WEBSITE.

Does what it is supposed to do and small size is great
I have the 2500w version and i must say its size and the amount bass it can put out is decent.
doubtful it will do the power it claims which is to be expected with entry level amps but for the price and small amount of space it requires still decent.
A few people have mentioned the amp doesnt allow heavy enough wiring and that the amp cannot get enough power to run properly. well that is really not true at all.
You do not need 4g wiring unless you are some how using really low grade stuff already any newer quality 8g wire should be enough to run this amp flawlessly. I would use rockford/lighting audio stinger and a couple other brands only maybe. If you have to go with whatever is around locally you could get the 5+g scosche amp kit nothing wrong with it.
So like i said you do not need 4g wiring to run this amp but if you feel comfortable trying you could use some adapters from 8g to 4g.
what most people will find is that there old wiring will fit and work great and will have no need to upgrade or replace anything.
If you deal with quality audio usaully on the regular like i do then you will prolly have 4g wiring of a known trusted brand so if the power and ground wires happen to not fit you could trim some of the wire back off at the ends without causing a problem as long as you have proper fused protection.
so far so good no overheating i am happy pumps two 12's fine

alright little thing
Pretty nice. My only complaint really is that if you mount it horizontally, it's unnecessarily annoying to adjust anything on the amp.

Impressive for the size and price!
I recently fried a Phoenix Gold amp that I've had for years and was looking for an inexpensive replacement to power my MTX T9512-44 that can be ran @ 1000w rms with a 2000w peak rms. I was amazed at the sound difference that this little amp made and it takes up less space than the capacitor I have sitting next to it. For the price, I really doubt you will find anything much better than this. Pro's of course is cost, size and power. Con's are the set screws for the wire leads, kind of hoaky and the power control knob housing is bulky, but that's the only issues i see so far.

Good for the price, but you should save for better.
I had x3 12inch kickers, I bought these Cer122's four of them made a custom box and everything. They do hit hard, but not nearly as hard as the kickers. Clear difference between 30$ speakers and 75$ speakers. I was expecting more from the Boss speakers so i cant say i am pleased, but honestly for the money my x4 Boss Cer122's is a nice setup. It certainly works well. I have a closed off trunk so i mainly feel vibrations, theres not much in the way of . . . how to describe, theres feeling subwoofers and then theres hearing. I certainly feel them, hearing them not so much. If you have a vehicle where your speakers wont have a wall between you and them you will be even more pleased than i am with them. With the discount it was 104$ for 4 of them, you cannot beat that price and you get decent wubs.
These Subwoofers cannot handle 1600watts, not even close. Maybe a quarter of that. if they where actually 1600watts they would be much more amazing.
Great for Entry level throw a 100$ out there, Then build a case yourself for about 50$ and have some fun, but make the case nice and get a really nice amp, so you can upgrade to 80$+ speakers. You really do, get what you pay for.

Worth it.
I have been using 4 of these a bit unconventionally for the last month or so. I have two floor standing speakers which I replaced the old blows ones in. Wired them in series to match the 8 ohm resisted and voilà. Needless to say my house sounds like a nightclub now and all four of them are the working strong. I've pushed them pretty hard and they only distort, even without a low pass filter, when its up around the limits of my hearing as well. Granted I'm not using them in a car I can say my experience with boss's 12s has been pretty good. And for the price, you can't beat it.
