This is a great amp power kit! I've bought three of them for different cars that I have owned. The cables are excellent quality and easy to route.

Nice install kit!

This is a quality kit with true 8 AWG wire. Has a high strand count and very flexible. The only con i have with the kit is they give you a ring terminal and spade for the ground wire but only a single ring terminal for the power wire but no spade to connect to your amp. I don't understand that but it's not a big deal. I would buy this again.

Great kit for the money

This was the least expensive kit I could find to install my sub. It worked fine and had all the bits and pieces needed. Didn't really want blue wire but I wire-loomed everything anyway so it doesn't show up. Recommended!

RCA cables are thin and cheap. Other than that it is a good kit with everything you could need.

Bang for the buck!

This is by no means Kicker quality... But it is also by no means Kicker price. You get what you pay for. For a CHEAP entry level system, this is sufficient. Wouldn't push it all that hard though.

Awesome install kit

I'm running four 8" subs off of two 175watt RMS amps, and the cables don't even get hot, even at very high levels.

1.5 years after install, they are holding up just fine.

Comes with good quality gold plated connectors that don't fall off.

If you are resourceful, this has enough cables do do an install on two cars.

What more could I ask for?

Good quality, could've been longer.

Very good quality cable with high quality insulation. The hardware that came with it was of high quality too... better than most generic electronic connections.

I wish the power cable was a bit longer, though... ended up using it and the ground cable just for the positive line. Finding more wire isn't hard, but it was an inconvenience.

The ground and power wires are coated with thin plastic instead of the red or blue braided heavier coating. If you get a tiny slit or cut in them you will lose the amp for awhile and have to get another $30 install kit so be careful with those two wires.

Overall this kit was very nice and of good quality. It does include connectors, grommets, 1 single spade connector, 1 butt connector etc. However those little accessories are very low quality and I would suggest buying your own from the local hardware store.

However, the wires and fuse themselves were very good quality and I would buy again.

Thinner than I thought it would be

Just ordered the exact same product in 8 gauge from a different site. when it arrive I compared it to othe pieces of 8 gauge wire I had and appeared to be about half as much metal/wire as the other pieces I had. Im not sure if this is low quality or not I havnt hooked it up to any amp yet but it just seems more like 10 gauge wire than 8 gauge wire

Nice Amp, Well Made, Good Buy!

The R150-2 gets its signal from an OEM CD6 and drives two aftermarket RF speakers in the rear of my F-350 Crewcab. Sonic techs were very helpful getting me setup with an OEM to aftermarket converter which makes all of the components work together flawlessly. I used a R150-1 to drive the subwoofer. Both amplifiers work great! No problems and the sound is clear, loud, and awesome! The system also works well at low volumes when others are riding in the truck and don't want the windows shaking. The amp was easy to set up.

It does what it says it does. Is a great amp for the price. This amp leans a bit toward a bettter amp for bass than treble. Not to say it sounds bad, but just that it seems to be better at lows. For the price you can't go wrong.

powerful!

I heard this little amp in person and just had to have it. I ordered it last night and will be using it to power my Pioneer 6.5" door speakers as part of my front stage. You will not be disappointed! The only downside is the unadjustable HPF. But other then that, I cannot complain!

Great Amp for the Money

I have it running 1 12" sub in a box. It pounds hard. Although the amp was rated at 150 watts, mine came with a test sticker of 176 watts.

Alot for a little

It has all the power I need for a single sub in the back of my trooper. the crossover and bass boost controls work great.

My s**t bang

I put this amp on my 6x9 door speakers, briged them and they're well over the wattage of the amp. Has them popping baby even trim the volume up to much great amp. If u want a strong banging amp this is it.

Best Amp Kit Around

Great amp kit, this will be the third car i've bought this for including a hybrid and i've seen it go through two iterations and them changing the fuse holder so you know they're listening to complaints. My only complaint still is you have to buy a second RCA when you buy it. Never had any of the cables be cut by anything on accident or anything i did have an old alpine amp that would cause one of the braids to fray but that was the amps fault. Yeah its not your beefy zero gauge stuff but not everyone wants or most of all can afford that. Overall great cables, great discreet fuse holder, includes all you need at a great price.

Get what you pay for

This kit gets the job done, but don't expect anything beyond that. Not that I'm complaining, it was the cheapest kit I could find on this site. If you are running 500 watts or less this is the kit for you. If you got a couple mofo's you should get a better kit.

Decent amp kit for the money. True 8ga copper, very flexible making it easy to route. I enjoy the type of fuse holder they give with the kit. The crimps are nice. The rcas are on par. I enjoy the attention to detail with the color combination. I'm using this kit to run a Soundstorm sv.200 amp, works just fine. Plenty of length on my good ole toyota pickup (94).

Good sub for $40.00

This sub sounds clean and gives good bass in the right box. Had mine in a sealed 1.0 and it was great if your getting just one. I would recommend the kenwood kac-1502s from this site, it's a tiny beast.

The better option

The power and ground wires in this kit might be slightly less than 8 gauge. But still close enough that they will work fine for most amps that work wire 8 gauge input. Cables are long enough to reach the back of just about any car. And a kit is much more convenient and cheaper than having to buy all the pieces separately.

Very Good Bass

This subwoofer is very tight, very clean, and handles well at 1000 watts. Definitely a 15 outa 10.

Impessive bass

I put one in my home powered subwoofer 1.5 cuft ported box 150 watt rms and it produces some earth shaking bass. I bought a Pioneer tsw303r and it sounded ok but when I put this sub in Wow the bass was tight and deep. Maybe it has to do with the huge voice coil 2 9/16. Very few subs have a voice coil this big. For the price you cant go wrong. Nice job Kenwood.

these things thump

I hooked two of these to my kenwood 7203 wich is rated at 175 x2 at 4 ohm and 220 at 2ohm this amp is under rated and pound the heck out of these subs. Great bass and shakes my house and the people next door already got the cops called on me. You have two get these Kenwood subs. Like they say here in Missouri: if it not pine it not mine, if its not wood its no good, if it not Sony its phoney. I highly recomend this subs to anyone.

Wow!!!

I bought this amp the other day and just got it installed. This little amp is amazing!! not only did it give me plenty of volume but the clarity of music is extremely better with the gain only being half way! I bought this amp thinking I would eventually have to upgrade my performance teknique 6.5" components, but now I'm thinking with an EQ set right, I'll get get what I'm looking for. My only problem is I wish the RCA's were on the same side as the power/ground, but thats just me being picky. Its a great amp for a great price you cant go wrong!

I love these things they pound for only being 200 rms and the voice coil is rare of the size i would reconmend this to my friends.

Great AMP for the price

I have owned this AMP 4 six months, I have it pushing a JL Audio 8W3v3 which has a max RMS Wattage of 250, This amp at 150 Watts falls right in its recommended range and it pushes the sub subperbly. Great amp if you want that added base to the factory unit.

Very good amp for a sub.

I am running a 10" Kicker sub with this and it works great. I ran it at loud level for an hour to test the system and the amp was cool to the touch and passed all my tests. This amp almost seems like overkill for 1 sub but it works great and the price is low.

Boom for the Buck

The amp is used to power a fosgate 10" sub. It does a great job of pushing it and has power to spare. Use it in a Ford F-250 and wouldn't need anything more.

Fosgate amp

Good all around amp. Have this running 2 pairs of Alpine components. Powers them without a problem at all and The sound reproduction is amazing. Highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a amp to power speakers on a budget.

this is a great little amp. im using it to power two rockford 6x9s and i can tell a huge difference since I'e had it installed. Powerful Amp

I've been a fan Rockford amps for as long as I can remember and this amp is no exception in my book. It delivered great low end to my sub and when I hooked it up to components it made them sound so much more clean and crisp. If you're in the market for a small amp with lots of power and great name then go ahead and order this amp now, you won't be disappointed! The only thing missing is a remote punch level controller, but other than that you adjust your amp once anyways and it's good to go.

Good Clean Rockford Power

I would recommend this amp to anybody that wants a amp that would surprise you for your money, I received this amp from a local shop in a sub-woofer deal i paid full retail price so this price is a steal, And This amp is underrated like all Rockford fosgate amplifiers so you always get more for your money with Rockford, mines came with a birth sheet rated 195 @ 4 Ohms Bridged And I had this amp hooked up to 2 Twelves and it pounded them as hard as this amp could push them and the amp has never Turnoff on me due to Over Heating and it got warm because it is a amplifier and all amplifier gets warm but it never got so hot that it shut off on me while i was bumping, and it bumped my subs so hard that when i told my nephew that my sub was only getting 50 watts each sub he was Shocked and said my system bumped harder then his One kicker CVR, Buy This Amp And you will be surprised by its power, if its driving door speakers or The Rockford Fosgate Prime R1 Subwoofers

Great Little Amp

Picked this up to power a single 12" Alpine SWE-1243 and man does it pack a pretty mean punch for such a little amp. The two work great together for those people looking for some nice bass at a great price. It hits just as hard as my friend's dual MTX setup and sounds twice as good. Don't waste your money on the higher powered amps from no-name companies. Rockford Fosgate has been in the business for a while and makes great amps.
